As it stands, Ireland will be in Pot 3 for the EURO 2028 qualifying draw in Belfast in December. It will be a massive November for Ireland as we fight for that second spot. With games against Austria (A) and Kosovo (H) it looks like a real opportunity to climb up the table and not only secure a place in Pot 2 but also secure a Nations League Play-Off place in March.

After tonight's draw, Ireland are now projected to be in Pot 3. Leading up to the Israel game we were projected to finish 2nd in the group and be in Pot 2 for the EURO 28 qualifiers. Massive shame but if we beat Kosovo in Dublin next month which we should, that will change, so let's see what happens.
