We didn’t appreciate this offense enough. I know how the season ended but this offense was still far superior to what we’ve seen recently
Eagles/Cowboys 2023 4th Quarter Thriller:
The 7-1 Eagles hosted the 5-2 Cowboys as Jalen Hurts battled a banged up knee.
Gainwell and Hurts each scored rushing TDs, but Dak Prescott kept Dallas in it as the Cowboys took a 17-14 lead right before halftime. Hurts then took a helmet to his injured knee on the final play of the half, without anyone knowing if he would still be playing after halftime.
Instead, he showed no signs of an injury and returned with a TD pass to DeVonta Smith, followed by another to A.J. Brown to give Philly an 11 point lead.
Dak rallied Dallas late, but two overturned plays helped the Eagles maintain a five point edge.
On the final drive of the game. Cowboys drove into the red zone, only for Josh Sweat to delivere a huge sack to set up one final play that fell short.
Eagles win a thriller 28-23.

AJ Brown had more catches in his first game with Jalen Hurts than he does in his first three games with a ‘real QB.’

Maturing is realizing Brian Johnson was the 2nd best coordinator Jalen Hurts had in the NFL behind Shane Steichen.
BJ just didn’t have Saquon and Vic Fangio like Kellen Moore did.

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we speak life, healing, and restoration over Jalen Hurts. Let Your healing power flow through his body. We declare that fear will not rule his mind and this moment will not define his future. Strengthen him, guide his doctors, and cover his family with peace. Let this season become a testimony of Your sustaining power. His purpose reaches beyond the field. Keep him anchored in You through every step. In Jesus’ name, amen! 🙏🏽

Seeing former Eagles players like Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens stand up for Jalen Hurts is honestly awesome.

Jalen Hurts entered the league in 2020, and by the end of this season, the Eagles and Cowboys will have faced each other 14 times during his career.
With Hurts now ruled out for the season, he’ll miss both matchups against Dallas, meaning he and Dak Prescott will have faced off just 5 times in 7 seasons.
Think about that. 65% of Eagles-Cowboys games during this era will have featured a backup QB instead of one of the two franchise quarterbacks.
In fact, Carson Wentz has played Dak more than Hurts in his time with Eagles at 6 games.
What a shame. This had the potential to be one of the best quarterback rivalries in the NFL, but instead, we’ve barely gotten to see it.
Stout please come back

No it definitely wasn’t
The NFL has concluded that the process surrounding Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts being cleared to play in Week 5 with a superficial blood clot “was handled appropriately,” a league source tells @TheAthletic nytimes.com/athletic/7708077…

My official apology to @JalenHurts @Eagles and the entire fanbase. My comments were wrong. No excuse.

Until the Eagles come out with a statement saying they fired the entire medical staff, I’m no longer a fan. This is also a stain on Howie and Lurie’s resume. How did this happen on your watch?
This got me thinking… if the Eagles would do this to their Super Bowl MVP, what I am to them?

Jalen Hurts is fighting for his life with multiple deep vein thrombosis blood clots in his lungs and a blood clot that traveled from his leg to his lungs.
This is why Michael Robinson’s questioning of his motives for being held out of a game were unethical and dangerous.
Players don’t fake blood clots.
Let’s all pray for Jalen Hurts 🙏🏾

Couldn’t be happier to have Jalen Hurts as my franchise QB. Wishing QB1 a speedy recovery 🙏

"For this team, for this city, I'll do anything."
Jalen Hurts said that in 2023 after beating Dallas on a bad knee.
Three years later he played an entire game in London on no sleep with a blood clot in his leg.
He meant every word.
