Finally got around to reading "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator" which is one of the more entertaining investment books I've ever read One of the most striking takeaways is the absolute degeneracy of some of these investing legends, and the way they bounced back from failure

Warp’s purpose is to enable users to customize and automate burdensome tasks, making blockchains more seamless and user friendly; providing massive utility while being invisible to most users and decentralized by design. For you gamers out there, you probably heard of games like geometry dash and Mario maker. Respectably, those games are trash — but they did something great. They allow users to customize the game and it ends up having more player base than grade A games in the long run. Warp is giving you that customization features to the blockchain. But right now, the first use case is just limit orders for DEXes and that’s no fun right? I can do that in CEXes easily. I still remember in 2016 where some CEXes can’t even do a proper buy/sell function and resorted to trading CFDs, now buy/sell and limit order is a given. Imagine a future where you could do all those basic CEX functions in a DEX. Tribalism of every chain is so strong and I will probably get flamed again for talking about a @terra_money project; but if there’s something we all can agree on, it’s the first rule of crypto: “not your keys, not your coins”. The first step of that rule is to enable you to do basic CEX function with you as the sole custodian. Crypto technology is still developing day by day and no one knows where it’s headed. Whether you like it or not, the crypto purists out there is building a future where decentralization is key, and Warp is an embodiment of that ethos. My own GPT4 usage has dropped off after the initial novelty/wow factor. I still think it's an absolute game-changer in particular for developers: not that it'll replace them, but in assisting those who want to learn new frameworks/platforms at 10x the old speed. It's like having a seasoned (albeit fallible) pro sat next to you.
