Paid my dues in 2025.
Sold EVERYTHING and moved to Thailand thanks to @levelsio (he blocked me but I don’t care).
Things got rough:
- bank account negative
- $1 sandwiches
Then November came and everything changed. At least I know now I was willing to suffer for something, and nobody can take that away from me.
-Apple tax returns 2025-
And ps: these monthly earnings are paid out nearly 2 months after the months seen here. I didn’t get November money until January. Shit was rough man
Some days I’m scared to open X because all I feel is a sense of impending doom from AI progress
Random Tuesday and 10 new frontiers models come out 💀
Impossible to keep up
Yo I’m still waiting on a setting to turn off automatic feed refreshing on app start
I open the app to the most important post of my life and it fucking vanishes

Holy shit, guys. You need to start searching your app’s keywords to see who’s copying you.
I just found someone who copied my app’s exact colors and design. AND somehow they’re getting away with using the same copyrighted name that got my app permanently banned from Google Play.
I had to start over with an entirely new app listing, but these guys get a free pass?
How does that make any sense?
After 9 months, I'm back in Vietnam.
Last time I was here, I was surviving on $1 bánh mì sandwiches, waiting for an App Store payout to hit.
Just months earlier, I'd been making $12k/month working on the worlds largest Bible App.
I quit.
Sold everything.
Moved to Thailand to build apps full-time, risking it all on $200/month at the time.
Ran out of money.
Borrowed $600 from my mom to get to Vietnam because I couldn't afford Thailand anymore.
Eventually went back to America to visit family.
Now I'm back for round 2.
This time making $3–4k/month.
In Vietnam, I can live comfortably on around $1,500/month.
Gives me freedom to spend my time building
I'm going to document more this time.
Might even get to meet @frederickjames while I'm out here.
I haven't made it big yet, but this time I'm not just trying to survive.
follow for SEA pt 2
decided to take my peptide app down with everyone getting this message - it wasn't making any money anyway not worth risking my account over
🛸 TINFOIL HAT ON
I'm not much of a stock market caller, or extremely religous, but I do pay attention to signs and overall market sentiment.
I've been given market signs before, last year calling the $SPY dip to 480 to the exact number from over 2 months away. I was given a sign of a motorcycle tag with the numbers 480 on it right after I declared the number.
I've had a theory for a while now that the market is headed for a major crash within the next couple of months, one additional catalyst being GTA 6. (I said tinfoil on bro)
A couple weeks ago, I accidentally entered the wrong dates for a flight and was shown an absurd price of $7,007 for yesterdays date.
Then yesterday, $SPY hung around $777.
In the Bible, the number 7 is often associated with completion. Revelation describes 7 seals, 7 trumpets, and 7 bowls of judgment.
7-7-7.
I don't believe in coincidence.
Anyway, I bought SPY puts today specifically because of the flight error I made, and made money, along with more puts further out to Dec.
Not financial advice.
Experiment with Gemini 4 Argon vs. Claude Opus 5.5
Gave both models the same prompt to build a spatial 3D DAW with a persistent mixer, dynamic plugin rack, and dockable timeline.
**Gemini 4 Argon**
+ More colorful, playful, futuristic interface
+ Great-looking knobs with LED accents and details
+ Included camera hotkeys (Option/Command) and manual zoom out of the box
- Added unnecessary UI text, excessive slashes, and labels like "Persistent Mixer"
- Initial result had major surface glare that required another prompt to fix
**Claude Opus 5.5**
+ More grounded, realistic hardware aesthetic
+ Cleaner, more intentional UI with relevant labels and controls
+ Better LED level meters on the mixer tracks
+ More cohesive physical console design
- Less visually playful than Argon
- Didn't include zoom controls initially, so I had to prompt for them
**My takeaway:** Argon had more personality and better camera controls out of the box, while Opus demonstrated better UI restraint and attention to detail.
Argon feels like software brought into 3D. Opus feels like actual hardware.
Which would you rather make music on?
After 7 days of waiting, app got rejected bc codex submitted my app via CLI and triggered "App Generation Services".
We are in an AI era apple please get with the program man
until then submit your app updates yourself I guess. here goes 7 more days of not making money ffs
Whoever can solve the best asset generation for ai game dev will be a billionaire.
Opus can put some stuff together, but WAY too many gaps still.
also Turn off model training on chatGPT. Go to Settings → Data controls → Improve the model for everyone → Off.
I've been inputting a novel product design into chatgpt for weeks without realizing it may be used to train the next model, thus making my idea useless.
The ai agent apps are listening to you
@Lovable app just pre populated a prompt based on the card game I was playing !
