Thanks to the team at Network Rail and Avanti for showing me round the new ticket office and lounge space at Glasgow Central - some really exciting work going on to hopefully improve the passenger experience 🚂
It was great to welcome MP @MartinRhodes21 to Glasgow Central last Friday. He met with the project team, who gave him a tour of the newly refurbished @AvantiWestCoast ticket office and first-class lounge, including the restored sash windows- thanks to the @RailwayHeritage. 🚉

👷 /1 Great to have @MartinJDocherty MP visit our team at Dalmuir in his constituency yesterday. Until the early hours of Tuesday morning, we’re working around-the-clock to replace worn-out track between Dalmuir and Yoker in a £1 million investment.

Over the September weekend, we’ll work around the clock for four days between Dalmuir and Yoker on a £1m project to upgrade ageing track. It involves changes to @ScotRail services from Friday 22, with trains returning on Tuesday 26.
