AI does not sleep!

Did you lose meaning? AI makes it incredibly fast to do things. Most of them used to take weeks. Sometimes months. You get emotionally attached when you spend that long on something. Naturally. Now you send a message. And it is completed shortly after. I have to fight this every single day. Not because I want to slow down. Because there are a lot of things I enjoy doing. Creating amazing reports is one of them. I can make a report now that a company would pay thousands for. It used to be a project. Now it is a message. Does it lose meaning when you tell them it was AI generated? Yes. In the rooms I am in, anything with an AI label is considered cheap. That will pass. It becomes the norm. Then the people who still love the making will stand out. The important part is this: do not lose the meaning of what you love. The actual process. The creation bit. I still sit in that part on purpose. Even when I know a message could finish it. That is where the joy is. And that is the part nobody can generate for you. What do you still make slowly, just because you like making it? ✨

Your customer should not be your monitoring system. If they find the bug first, you’re already late. Observability + AI agents can: detect → diagnose → fix/escalate → verify 24/7. The future of product quality isn’t a better bug backlog. It’s a self-healing product.

Drop the Monday morning routine. If 8 people leave with 8 to-do lists, AI hasn’t changed the workflow. Brain-dump together. Break the work apart. Get it running in parallel. Then spend the week reviewing, correcting and deciding. Speed isn’t the point. Orchestration is.

It’s all in the small details!
One detail I like about Linear’s docs is that cmd + f searchbox searches within an accordion like FAQ as well and opens it if there’s a match. I don’t see this often, but it’s one of those things I’m pleasantly surprised about when I see it.

Everything you know about product development isn’t valid anymore. There is a complete new way of product development and the biggest challenge isn’t the tech. It’s the mindset change you need to have to accept it.

Happy New Year 🎆 2025 was the year where: - Reasoning actually worked for real - LLMs got into our terminals - $200 subscriptions became the norm - Chinese models just owned the leaderboards - Context windows went endless (claude code magic) - Gemini crushed it, best AI model, Google back as leader - Stitch became the best AI designer in the world - MCP turned into actual infra - AI browsers where AI finally controls your browser - Real coding from your phone - Endless slop everywhere - Everybody clueless, impossible to keep up 2026: agents that don't suck, real products shipping, value over hype. Let's go build.

Stop trying to be "Professional". Be "Effective". Professional is a suit. Effective is a shipped product.

He has a point
At this point @Cloudflare is taking down our sites more than hackers.

I don't understand the hype around Google's Antigravity. It sucks when comparing it to @cursor_ai . It is constantly stuck on "running" and marketing it as an "AI that runs on google scalable infrastructure" sounds like a huge mistake, as this thing can't even run simple tasks.
