Good for the community but I still won't support WoTC. There's better games made by companies who haven't attempted to bury a dagger in the backs of the people who support their game. WoTC showed their true colors and we should never forget what they tried to pull.

20 yrs ago I helped create the #OGL which helped save @Wizards_DnD . Today that license is at risk of being changed by @Hasbro and @Wizards of the Coast. I am hoping that a coordinated response by the community might make them reconsider their plans.

What's happening with #OpenDnD is a symptom of a much larger problem - capitalism.
1. Capitalism concentrates power in the hands of a few. Employees at Wizards and Hasbro will be the ones who suffer, and the millions of users who enjoy the game, neither of which have a real say.

2 days later, still nothing. People are so frustrated at this mismanagement that they've begun canceling Beyond subscriptions. It's embarrassing & infuriating. It's like the management team was educated by Elon Musk on how best to undermine confidence & destroy companies.
I'm working on the second issue of Chthonic Crawl for #DCC . It's tentatively titled Merchants and Monsters, but thanks to WoTC fuckery with the OGL, I might have to change that so everything can be system agnostic - like merchants without stat blocks.
