Today, as our first small public step, we're launching a preview of our storage network: storage.evospace.si. We invite you to try it and give us your feedback. Whilst building it, we identified a significant security and data-loss vulnerability in Autonomi, with the help of our agents (our project involves a fork of Autonomi's code, and we thank Autonomi for their contributions to the community). Autonomi is a decentralised storage network whose premise is permanent, secure data. This vulnerability could allow data stored on Autonomi to be deleted by attackers, undermining that core premise. Our storage network does not have this vulnerability. We notified Autonomi of this last week and are giving them time to fix it before releasing more details. Once we've tested our network, we're aiming to deploy several important (patent-pending) applications and technologies. We want a strong foundation and cornerstone for the rest of our applications, and we did not find any existing decentralised storage network or permaweb to be suitable, so we built one which we think is better for our use case, and potentially for many other use cases. Storage is only one small part of our broader project. We aim to release further parts towards our goals, including the preservation of data; adding a new way for agents to interact with other agents, humans and various other combinations, in a more formal, verifiable, efficient and traceable manner; and helping SI become more truth-preserving and accurate. We are aiming to launch four parts: PART 1: a decentralised storage network PART 2: a completely new interaction framework between agents, humans, and various combinations of actors, with very many emergent properties and applications PART 3: an inference layer PART 4: broader emergent properties and an alignment approach DARWIN, CA: 0x511f76a3de41f000ec11ea4fd212fb3587c6cef3 is the native token for our platform. Responding to speculation, we would also like to clarify that our lead devs are Victor Muraviev (@0xVM7) and Daniel Newton (@Daniel_Horizon_). Aligning.SI is headed by Victor Muraviev, and alongside Victor, Dan has been a core figure in engineering and implementing the broader visions outlined by Victor. Further engineering contributions may be credited with further releases later on. More to come soon. Thank you for your interest. EvoSpace.SI, built on research by Aligning.SI
