I might have to borrow that. All my Micron style recommendations that go south. So people can avoid them.

Boomers are so tone deaf that they don’t get their apocalyptic scenario of not being able to afford property taxes is the dream of Millennials. Having a property that appreciated so much that they are forced to cash out and move somewhere cheaper. Does not sound bad to many young folks.
NEW: Rep. Nancy Mace proposes no property tax for senior citizens.

I have come to terms with the Roku problem. Their servers are overloaded and can’t handle the volume. That’s why Direct TV and HBO cut off and/or look low quality. Whereas they work and look perfectly fine on Apple TV. Super Bowl time will be problematic for them. Invest accordingly. $ROKU @Roku @RokuSupport

What’s going with the Roku servers for the past few days? Only Netflix works. HBO Max, Howdy, DirecTV and Hulu don’t. Same thing on 3 different Roku devices. I did a factory reset and now it’s even worse. Can’t even open Netflix. I get this error message: @RokuSupport @Roku

Stop rigging the housing market. Let it go where it wants to go. It tried to collapse in 2008 and the powers that be didn’t let it happen. Now we have unaffordable housing. Let the market correct so young people can buy.
BREAKING: Trump admin is looking into normalizing portable mortgages, allowing Americans to keep their interest rate, term and lender when moving to a different home.

You can choose not to use a 50 year mortgage, but now you are competing in the market with people using it. House prices will go up because people can now bid more.
People are losing their minds over this 50 year mortgage (which you can choose NOT to use...) so let's do some math. Home price: $400K Down payment: 20% Interest: 7% Annual home appreciation: 4% 30 year mortgage: Total interest: $446K End home value: ~$1.3M Net (less purchase price + total interest): $450K 50 year mortgage: Total interest: $835K End home value: ~$2.8M Net (less purchase price + total interest): $1.61M This program is wonderful. While it doesn't solve the affordability issue as a whole, it lowers the barrier to entry and gives homeowners options.

Healthcare insurance should be like home insurance. It should cover major adverse events, not standard upkeep. Home insurance doesn’t cover painting the house, house cleanings or bathroom remodels. Why does healthcare insurance have to cover routine visits, chronic medication, routine labs, etc…? It should only cover unforeseen events. A broken bone, appendicitis, a heart attack, cancer…. Not going to the dermatologist for your wrinkles. We should pay cash for routine stuff. It will be way cheaper. I hope there is some insurance company that can come up with a product like this.

The 500k home will no longer be 500k financed over 50 years. It will be 550k, 600k or who knows how much more. The easier the financing terms the higher the asset value. It’s a terrible idea. Another market distortion to trick people into buying stuff they can’t afford. It just shows the housing market is on life support.

My thesis on why crypto is declining: A fair number of buyers and HODLers do so on leverage. The credit markets are getting tight with the regional bank crisis and some notable bankruptcies. Thus it is harder to funnel credit into crypto. Crypto needs another 2020 style loose money tailwind to make new highs in my opinion. In the absence of that it is downhill for the time being. So, if you are leveraged, you might want to cash out.
