Amazing how the person I replied to who was like "It's just a joke, it's not transphobia, honest, can't you take a joke," got likes *exclusively* from transphobes. Like, people with pronoun jokes in their bio and everything. I'm sure *that's* a coincidence.

The best thing about Elon buying Twitter is him exposing the dog whistle of "free speech absolutist." You want free speech... until you gain power. And then it becomes "only speech I personally approve of." Reminds me of the "Tolerance of intolerance" problem.
My "Who to follow" used to be filled with cute trans girls, now it just promotes far right transphobes and Musk simps, because apparently they turned off the filter that understands the concept of a "hate-follow." RIP bird app.

Not going to link it, because of Musk's new authoritarian, probably illegal linking rules, but I do have a Mastodon. If you follow me it should be pretty easy to find me there. There's a number of services to help find followers cross-platform.
Let's be honest, even if Elon steps down as head of Twitter, he's still going to own the platform. So his thumb is on the scales. Whoever's in charge will ultimately report to him. I doubt things are going to get better anytime soon.
Twitter is on fire and I'm loving every minute of it. My feed is dead, but hey, I expected that. Not every day that you get to see $44 billion go up in flames.
