1. Our skeletons are wet. 2. Your nose is ALWAYS in your line of sight, but your brain ignores it. 3. When you receive a donated kidney, they don't take out the bad one. They just add the good one in. 4. Your immune system doesn't know you have eyes. Otherwise, it would attack them and make you blind. Injuring one eye can introduce eye bits to the bloodstream and basically give your immune system the knowledge of having eyes. Then it might decide it really fucking hates that and attack your non-injured eye. 5. The quality of the male sperm is responsible for morning sickness, preeclampsia, baby's gender and almost every single pregnancy related issue. 6. You breathe through one nostril at a time. Don't believe me? Put your finger below your nose and try. 7. The brain itself has no nerve endings, so it can't feel pain. That's why patients can be wide awake during brain surgery and made to perform certain actions. 8. That ringing in silence isn't silence. When everything is quiet and you hear a faint ringing? That's your brain listening to its own nervous system. You are hearing yourself functioning. 9. You will never experience your own death. You only experience approaching it... Then nothing. Everyone else gets closure, stories, funerals, and memories. You don't. You never know you've become a memory. From your perspective, the story just stops mid-sentence.
Tell me something about the human body i probably don’t know.

Nothing will ever convince me that being 12 years old, sitting on the floor of your bedroom, listening to music on a tiny CD player while flipping through a magazine wasn’t one of the most peaceful eras of human civilization.

I was disappointed at the conversation around Transatlantic slavery reparations yesterday. Such an insult to Caribbean people. Reparations are not a money grab and they aren’t centred purely on money either. So much work being done around this & people aren’t paying attention.

Its bluetooth speakers. Even if they have two speakers in them, the stereo field is so shallow, its pointless. Ironically, we need to bring back Stereos.
I’d like producers/mixers to make more use of stereo sound. Most modern songs sound flat and mono. Have more fun with sound. Have the listener pick out different sounds from every angle. Make it more interesting.

Nature is healing πŸ’š
Sweden is officially trading screens and tablets for physical books and handwriting to reverse a decline in reading skills. Once at the forefront of hyper-digitalized learning, Sweden is engineering a dramatic pivot back to the basics in its classrooms. Concerned that an overreliance on digital tablets and screens has eroded reading comprehension and foundational writing skills, Swedish education officials are investing heavily in traditional printed textbooks. The national strategy aims to phase out digital devices for children under the age of six entirely, following a drop in international reading assessment scores. Experts point out that while technology was championed to level the playing field, its unrestricted use has instead led to shorter attention spans and reduced retention among younger learners. Scientific evidence strongly supports this retro transition. Research indicates that the physical act of handwriting activates complex neural networks governing motor skills, vision, memory, and languageβ€”cognitive benefits that are largely lost on a keyboard. Furthermore, reading from a printed page provides critical spatial cues that aid comprehension, unlike digital screens that often subject students to cognitive fatigue and constant distractions. While computers and tablets remain valuable tools for research and collaboration, educators worldwide are watching Sweden's massive reinvestment in physical books as a potential blueprint for a more balanced, science-backed approach to modern schooling. source: The Guardian. Switching off: Sweden says back-to-basics schooling works on paper.

At what point do we say the gaslighting getting out of hand. Jamaicans do not hate on anybody. I would choose to have Jamaican heritage in every lifetime. Your culture and everybody else’s isn’t even an afterthought and I’m putting that so respectfully.
Jamaicans have been hating on the Somali community in the UK since the 1950s But no one is ready for that conversation
