K & 2nd grade Ss @HorizonElem learned about Machine Learning from @AlgorithmChef. K Ss used @Google Autodraw to identify living & nonliving things at the park while 2nd grade used Teachable Machine to create a model that identified if an animal migrates or hibernates.

On Day 4 of @CSEdWeek, K-5 teachers @emerickelem1967 participated in Machine Learning CLTs to learn about the new ML curriculum and review their grade level lessons. It was great to see teachers engaging in programs like @Google AutoDraw, Teachable Machine, and @microbit_edu.

What do handshakes and algorithms have in common? As part of a CS & @SSGSlcps lesson, the kindergarten students @HorizonElem became algorithm experts as they worked together to follow the steps of 5 “Secret Handshakes” in order to learn new ways to greet people during the day.
