🃏 SOLANA: GOTHAM CITY — EPISODE 7
🚨 THE JOKER RETURNS: THE WAR ON FAKE NUMBERS 🤡
After five long days of touching grass, Gotham's most outspoken clown has returned.
And he's PISSED.
🚨 Fake TPS numbers!
🚨 False decentralization claims!
🚨 Dishonesty in crypto!
The Joker has officially declared WAR on all three.
Across Gotham, citizens are stunned.
Not because of what he said.
But because nobody can figure out whether he's announcing an investigation...
Or turning himself in. 💀
At a packed press conference, the Joker grabs the microphone:
🃏 "THE GREATEST ALPHA IN CRYPTO IS THE TRUTH! FEW UNDERSTAND!"
A nervous reporter raises his hand.
🎤 "Sir, before we investigate the other blockchains... shouldn't we start with Solana's TPS numbers?"
The room goes silent.
The Joker slowly lowers his microphone.
🃏 "NEXT QUESTION." 🤡
To be continued...

a16z making the case for lattices in post-quantum signatures. Sounds familiar?
@Algorand already there: Falcon (lattice-based) State Proofs since 2022 + native Falcon-1024 accounts live on mainnet. @ChrisPeikert (lattice OG) the CSO.
😂 I'm hoping this is exactly how William Herkelrath's first meetings are going.
All jokes aside, it's time for some serious accountability at the Algorand Foundation.
What does each position cost? What value does it bring? And what measurable results are we getting?
Algorand has incredible technology. Let's make sure the money being spent is actually moving it forward.
$ALGO
July 27.
Every once in a while, the Joker says something and you have to admit:
Alright. That was pretty fucking funny.
Cardano:
18 transactions per second.
The Joker’s review:
“Slow enough to peer review each one individually.”
That’s a good one.
Even Batman probably had to look away for a second so nobody saw him laugh.
And that’s the thing about Gotham.
The Joker isn’t wrong about everything.
Sometimes he lands one.
Sometimes the joke is actually good.
Sometimes you read it, laugh, and move on.
Then five minutes later he’s back on a rooftop explaining why Solana has solved every problem in computer science.
But for this one?
Credit where it’s due.
The Joker got me.
Welcome back to Gotham.
SOLANA: GOTHAM CITY — EPISODE 7
The Joker is done investigating other cities.
He’s back to selling real estate in Gotham.
And apparently business is booming.
Today’s pitch:
Solana does more transactions than every other chain combined.
It’s one of the “greatest opportunities of our lives.”
Don’t believe the lies.
And, somehow, Gotham is now:
“Bitcoin 3.0.”
Holy shit.
At this point the Joker isn’t posting about a blockchain anymore.
He’s standing behind a folding table outside City Hall selling timeshares.
“Come on in. Ignore the rumors. Beautiful neighborhood. Great schools. Extremely decentralized. You’re gonna love it here.”
Someone asks about the neighborhood.
He points at the transaction chart.
Someone asks whether maybe some of those numbers deserve a little context.
He slides the brochure back across the table.
“Did you hear me? BITCOIN 3.0.”
Then comes the closer:
More decentralized.
More scalable.
More private.
More scarce.
More secure.
Basically everything except more humble.
And if you still aren’t convinced, apparently you’re just an insecure, misinformed maxi who’s about to miss one of the greatest opportunities of your life.
Nothing suspicious about that sales pitch.

Initial here.
Welcome to your new timeshare.
Welcome back to Gotham.
Hey #AlgoFam—meet Harpal Singh, CFO of the Algorand Foundation.
After years of ALGO treasury sales and millions in Foundation spending, where's the accountability?
How much goes to leadership, and what measurable return are holders getting?

SOLANA: GOTHAM CITY — EPISODE 6
The Joker has discovered diversification.
Turns out the people cheering in Gotham own shit in other cities too.
At first, everybody’s having a great time.
He takes a shot at Bitcoin.
Some people laugh.
Ethereum catches one.
More laughs.
XRP gets dragged.
Still plenty of cheering.
Then he starts going after Cardano.
Midnight.
And suddenly parts of the crowd get real fucking quiet.
Because the guy holding two SOL might also be sitting on a giant bag of ADA.
The guy laughing when XRP gets kicked might have ten times more money in Cardano than he has in Solana.
Everybody loves the Joker when he’s talking shit about somebody else’s bag.
Then eventually he gets to yours.
And suddenly it’s:
“Wait a fucking minute. What’s wrong with Cardano?”
Now you’re not laughing.
Now you’re checking your portfolio.
Now the guy you thought was hilarious five minutes ago is apparently a fucking idiot.
That’s the problem with spending every day telling Gotham that every other city is full of morons.
Eventually, you insult something everybody owns.
The Joker can keep throwing rocks at every window in crypto.
He just shouldn’t be surprised when half the crowd realizes one of those windows belongs to them.
Welcome back to Gotham.
SOLANA: GOTHAM CITY — EPISODE 5
Gotham got a morality lesson today.
From the Joker.
Apparently the big problem in crypto now is that people can just flat-out lie and get away with it.
And look — fair point.
Lying is bad.
But hearing that lecture from the Joker is fucking incredible.
It’s like he walked into Gotham, climbed onto a soapbox, and said:
“Guys, I’m starting to think some of these people aren’t being completely honest.”
The whole city just goes quiet.
Somebody drops a coffee.
Batman stops mid-swing.
Even the other villains are looking around like:
“Is he fucking serious?”
But the Joker keeps going.
Truth matters.
Words matter.
People should be held accountable for what they say.
Apparently Gotham has standards now.
And somehow the guy in the purple suit is the one teaching the ethics class.
That’s where we are.
Welcome back to Gotham.
SOLANA: GOTHAM CITY — EPISODE 4
The Joker has started demanding background checks on the other villains.
Today’s applicant: Midnight.
Apparently there are questions about closed-source code, admin control, and validators being asked to run software they can’t fully inspect.
Serious questions.
So naturally, the Joker has opened an HR department.
“Any undisclosed admin keys?”
“Can we contact your previous validators?”
“Have you ever been convicted of excessive centralization?”
“Please explain this gap in your decentralization history.”
At this point, nobody gets into Gotham without three professional references and a clean governance record.
Some poor blockchain is sitting in the waiting room holding a résumé while the Joker flips through its GitHub history like:
“We’ll be in touch.”
And somewhere, Batman is probably trying to figure out when the fuck the Joker became Human Resources.
But here we are.
The other villains better clean up their résumés.
The Joker is hiring.
Welcome back to Gotham.
SOLANA: GOTHAM CITY
Episode 4 — The Double Standard
The Joker has opened Gotham’s Department of Blockchain Justice.
Every rival gets a search warrant.
Solana gets a fucking ribbon-cutting ceremony.
This week’s defendant: XRP.
The charge? Selling decentralization while running unpublished code.
A legitimate question.
Unfortunately, the prosecutor arrived wearing a Solana cheerleading uniform under his judicial robes.
He demands transparency.
So let’s start with his courtroom.
Why does every other chain sit at the defendant’s table while Solana gets to sit on his lap?
He can spot a red flag across the fucking city—unless it’s hanging over his favorite project.
Then it’s a decoration.
Someone turns on the Bat-Signal.
The Joker looks up.
“Before we investigate, is Batman bullish on SOL?”
SOLANA: GOTHAM CITY — EPISODE 3
Big day in Gotham.
The Joker has discovered ethics.
Today he’s worried about XRP and whether people are being misled about how decentralized it really is.
So naturally, the loudest voice in Solana’s Gotham City has appointed himself crypto’s new compliance officer.
Clipboard out.
Very serious.
Lots of questions.
Who controls what?
Who can change what?
Is the decentralization real?
Are people being told the truth?
All fair questions.
It’s just fucking hilarious watching the Joker ask them.
It’s like the Joker walking into a police station and saying:
“Guys, I’m starting to think there may be some dishonest people out there.”
Everybody just stares at him.
But he keeps going.
He has charts.
He has concerns.
He has standards now.
He may even have a fucking checklist.
And somehow the guy who spends all day telling everyone Solana has it figured out is now auditing everybody else’s blockchain.
Because apparently in Gotham, the Joker isn’t the problem anymore.
He’s compliance.
Welcome back to Gotham.
SOLANA: GOTHAM CITY — EPISODE 2
This morning, the Joker climbed onto the roof of City Hall and declared:
“We did it! We solved the blockchain trilemma.”
Bold statement from Gotham.
Down below, another meme coin is crawling out of a sewer.
Three bots are already trading it.
Some guy with a cartoon animal for a profile picture is calling it “the future of finance.”
Nobody knows who owns half the wallets.
Nobody knows where the volume came from.
Nobody gives a shit, because the chart is green.
The Joker looks over the city, grins, and adds:
“BTC & ETH gave up on the dream too soon.”
Of course they did.
They just never realized the dream was supposed to look like a casino operating inside an active crime scene.
Gotham keeps moving.
Another token launches.
Another one vanishes.
Another crowd gathers around a flashing green candle.
And high above it all, the Joker stands in the smoke, smiling like he just saved the fucking city.
Welcome back to Gotham.
