JUMBO progress for elephants!
Dr. Paul Ling and his team at @bcmhouston and @houstonzoo have two new publications that cover the development and evaluation of the world's first mRNA vaccine for elephants and the first evidence that elephants receiving this vaccination can successfully withstand natural infection with EEHV1A without developing severe hemorrhagic disease!
This is HUGE and IEF is so proud to have supported this work!
