The Colts already turned down a 2027 second-round draft pick plus an additional pick for RB Jonathan Taylor, making clear they’d want a premium to trade the face of the franchise. All the trade updates you can handle in The Sweep Insider Notebook: tompelissero.substack.com/p/…

Sources: The #Giants will host former Pro Bowl DE Yannick Ngakoue for a workout on Monday. Ngakoue, who has 71.5 career sacks, sat out last season to recover and is now fully healthy and ready to return to the NFL.

"I think what makes this Jaxson Dart injury so frustrating is that it was both preventable but also inevitable" @Connor_J_Hughes reports from Chicago on Jaxson Dart's injury and how it was "inevitable" given Dart's playing style and the Giants' play-calling:

I don’t have the energy for two months of debate over who is more to blame. It’s Year 4. The Giants have the sixth-worst record in the NFL since this regime arrived (second-worst over the past three seasons). What are we doing?

I don’t know who needs to hear this but, Jaxson Dart does not need Brian Daboll.

In the wake of the devastating Malik Nabers injury, should the NYGiants give Jalin Hyatt a opportunities this week? Or should they look to pick up someone else's headache? I think this is the time for Hyatt to show himself. Either that or he simply doesn't belong on the team. What do you think?

According to Ryan Dunleavy on WFAN, he never believed that Sam Darnold was a serious option for the Giants.

Sources to The Insiders: The #Seahawks are trading QB Geno Smith to the #Raiders in exchange for a third round pick. Seattle had contract discussions with Smith recently. In the end, they decide to move him to Vegas for a reunion with Pete Carroll.
