Alabama fans, if the offensive game plan in the loss at Tennessee left you scratching your head—especially that opening script—you’re not alone. @joelklatt: "The script is only good if the script works... Kalen and Ryan just won't run the football..."

Someone just told me: “Pastor, you REALLY need to look into the modern state of Israel.” Bro… I have TWO seminary degrees from top Bible schools. Ordained minister. Thousands of hours in the Word. Read the Bible cover-to-cover multiple times. Devoured ~10,000 theology books. I didn’t get my view on Israel from CNN, TikTok, or some “enlightened” podcast. My source? THE BIBLE. And it’s crystal clear. 2/4 The Bible says: ✅ The Jews would return to THEIR land in the last days (Ezek 37, Isa 11:11-12, Jer 31) ✅ Jerusalem would become a global flashpoint (Zech 12:3) ✅ ALL nations would eventually turn against Israel (Zech 14:2) ✅ Jesus Himself will return to ISRAEL — feet on the Mount of Olives (Zech 14:4, Acts 1:11) ✅ The eternal capital of King Jesus will be JERUSALEM — not Dubai, not NYC, not heaven (Rev 20-21, Zech 14) 3/4 The Bible literally says “ALL ISRAEL will be saved” (Rom 11:26). God didn’t replace Israel. He didn’t transfer the promises. He didn’t change His mind. If you think the church “replaced” Israel, you’re arguing with God’s unbroken covenant — and you’re gonna lose that debate. 4/4 So nah… I don’t need your YouTube documentaries, Al-Jazeera clips, or “demonic propaganda.” I’ll stick with the most accurate book in history — the one that’s been 100% right on every prophecy so far. God’s not done with Israel. In fact, He’s just getting started. Drop a 🇮🇱 if you stand with God’s Word over the world’s noise. #Israel #BibleProphecy #EndTimes #JesusIsComing

What we've learned in the last 3 weeks: The American Left is willing to lie. Not just occasionally, not just frequently. But about anything, and everything, all the time, in any way that helps them gain and protect their power. We've learned that the Left's willingness to lie pervades every single role that they play in American public life -- their politicians, staffers, judges, journalists, influencers, academics, school teachers. Everyone. They lie with no shame, no self-awareness, no perspective-taking, no sensitivity to hypocrisy. Most are locked are so deep inside their partisan bubbles that they'll never even hear any news about their own hypocrisy. So stop trying to shame them about their hypocrisy. The Left simply does not care that they are hypocritical about everything. They believe that they are righteous, and that everything they do, every lie they tell, is for the greater good. And every truth that their political enemies share is evil. What to do? Fighting a political opponent that has no epistemic integrity is very frustrating. It's like trying to wrestle a huge nest of vipers, covered in motor oil, in zero gravity, inside a longhouse filled with screeching termagants and noxious fumes. I don't know how to defeat such a monstrous willingness to lie about everything. But I do know that pointing out the Left's hypocrisy -- however good it feels, however many clicks it gets from the Right -- has exactly zero impact on their self-image, their values, their strategies, or their behavior.

Contrary to popular opinion, Trump doesn’t want a strong dollar. He wants a WEAK dollar in order to make U.S. exports more affordable abroad and to protect U.S. manufacturing.

The public already knows what “really happened” in the top 3 scandals of today: 1. Epstein had a lot of wealthy friends for whom he acted as a pimp. 2. Comey, Brennan, & many others misused their positions to illegally spy on Trump & others & improperly prosecute people. 3. Biden’s people & Kamala Harris & her people & the media covered up that Biden was in cognitive free-fall in order to hold on to power. This also resulted in the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle, among other things. We know these are what really happened because enough facts are publicly available already, we saw quite a bit of it with our own eyes, & we have working brains. We don’t need the government to “officially” tell us these things. We already know them. And more and more people in the middle are coming to understand that that is what actually happened. (The Left will not admit any of these realities until about 40 years from now, just like they now admit that Bill was a dog.) But the federal government is not some Uber-umpire giving out definitive calls as to what happened. Especially when the time for criminal prosecutions has lapsed. Even in most past “scandals,” few people ever actually went to jail. Stop looking to the feds to validate the reality that you already know & that time is in the process of confirming. You aren’t going to get it. That’s not how it works anyway. Never has been. You’re wanting something that is an illusion and never existed anyway. And if you’re looking for “accountability” for any of that stuff from the feds, you’re not going to get that either, esp if what you really mean is punishment. The only accountability that comes is disclosure, exposure, & condemnation by the populous. That’s all it’s ever been. There’s no ruling from the Almighty in this lifetime or some national school principal or judge-like figure who announces who the guilty ones officially are & how they will be punished. Life just isn’t like that. Accept the reality you already know to be true. Stop giving the federal govt so much power to validate truth.

When bought legislators erode trust, people look to judges for justice. But corruptible courts fail us too. In the end, we’re left pinning hope on one executive. Is that authoritarianism? Or a Democratic fail safe?

Did you ever notice how Orthodox Jews couldn’t care less what the world thinks of them? Not a little. Not secretly. They truly, completely, deeply don’t care. They’ll walk through an airport looking like they time-traveled out of 1850. Pray out loud in a hoodie or a hat while people whisper. The men grow beards, wear hats, let their tzitzit hang out. The women cover their hair with wigs, scarves, hats (depending on your heritage)—like queens from another world. And they’ll show up to your office two days late because it was a holiday no one’s ever heard of. And they won’t apologize. Because you can’t even imagine what their life is. You can’t imagine what it’s like to disappear from the world—fully—every single week. Shabbat comes in and they’re gone. Just gone. No phone, emails, group chats, news, and no chaos. You could be calling them a hundred times. The world could be in flames. They won’t pick up. And they wouldn’t even know. And honestly? They don’t even care. While the world is busy arguing over the next divisive topic, they’re sitting around the table with their eight kids. Singing 1,000-years-old songs. Wearing their nicest clothes for no one but each other. Eating and talking about the weekly Torah parsha or the current holiday, Walking to shul in the rain without an umbrella—because it’s muktzah (forbidden to carry or touch). It’s not just that they are screen-free or tech-free. They are world-free. And it doesn’t stop there. You can’t imagine what it’s like to live on a calendar that makes no sense to anyone else. To be out of office when no one else is. To fast for 25 hours on a random Tuesday in July or September. To miss concerts, meetings, deals—because it’s Pesach, Sukkot, Purim, or Tisha B’Av. To need kosher food and say no to 98% of restaurants—not because you’re picky, but because there’s a God, and He is watching. You might think they’re disconnected from the world. Maybe. But somehow, many of them still manage to own buildings, run multimillion-dollar companies, donate billions to charity, raise big families, live rich lives. They vanish for Shabbat, disappear for holidays, leave early Fridays—and yet they’re still there at the top. Still getting it done. How? Because when you live with clarity, you waste less time chasing noise. Because when your values are ancient, you’re not shaken by what’s trending—because your values were already tested, again and again, and they won. Because when you know who you are, you don’t need to keep proving it. They don’t care what people think— Not because they’re rude or arrogant. But because they already have something better than approval: conviction. Their compass doesn’t point to likes or clicks. It points to Sinai. And once you’ve stood at Sinai—even in memory—you just see the world differently. So yeah, they’re not ashamed. Not of their prayers. Not of their outfits. Not of the way they live. Not of the rules that guide them. They’re not trying to be different. They’re trying to stay loyal. To something eternal. In a world obsessed with changing, they’re holding on. And that kind of confidence—that kind of freedom— You can’t buy it. You can’t fake it. You can’t even imagine it. But they live it. Every day. Proudly. Openly. And they wouldn’t trade it for anything.

It's common for advocates of traditional worship to say "we don't have a problem with guitars in worship. It's the words that matter." But I don't think this is quite accurate. Instruments also matter. Not as much. But they certainly do. I love guitars, probably much more than your average praise band supporting pastor. But guitars are not well-suited to leading worship because you need two things from worship instrumentation. To use guitar lingo, you need to play lead to highlight the melody and guide the congregation in singing. And you need to play rhythm, which supports the congregation in singing. It's quite difficult to do both on the guitar at the same It's much easier to do this on the organ and piano, however. The organ, especially, is perfectly designed to both lead and support congregational singing. It's like with a cello. A beautiful instrument. And it can certainly be incorporated into sacred worship, as it has been for centuries. But a cello isn't designed to lead worship. Using it to do so simply won't work and things will get messy. So it is with guitar. Guitars don't really lead congregations in singing. They support singers who are leading congregations in singing. And when singers lead the congregation in singing, the end result is very often that the congregation withdraws and the singer, and thus the performance, becomes the primary focus. So are guitars theologically inappropriate for worship? Of course not. But are they mechanically ill suited to lead a congregation in singing the great treasures of Lutheran hymnody? Yes.
