Zarzuela will be the star at a performance dedicated to the late parents of @PlacidoDomingo who first brought the Spanish genre to Mexico in the 1950s. With his gift for unifying people through music the Madrid-born singer who grew up in Mexico, will be participating in the evening celebrating the ties between the Spanish city of Jerez de la Frontera and the Mexican state of Jalisco, where Federico Moreno Torroba composed some of his best known zarzuelas. The Orchesta Filarmónica de Malaga will be conducted by Allen Vladimir Gómez. "Zarzuela de ida y vuelta" with our favourite singer, sopranos Zayra Ruiz amd Laura Pulido, tenors Polo Falcón and Alejandro de Ángel and baritone Carlos López. Teatro Villamarta in Jerez de la Frontera is the place to be this evening, toi toi toi!
