What Happened to the Crypto Twitter (CT)
Back then when you join Crypto Twitter (CT), you will be greeted with high quality content from notable threadors. They shared insights on the state of the crypto market, project fundamentals, and breakdowns of dense and technical white papers. They even used a keyhole approach to analyze the global economy, predicting what the crypto market might look like in the coming months.
Back then, having a solid understanding of crypto was essential before starting your journey. For beginners, "How to DeFi" by @coingecko was frequently recommended. Without grasping the basic concepts of crypto and how things worked, it was hard to go far in the space.
We had incredible contributors like @thedefiedge, @defiprincess, and @DeFiMinty, who broke down project fundamentals and explained how the global economy impacts the crypto space. Then there were accounts like @Smartecio and @dcfgod, who specialized in simplifying complex, technical white papers, making them accessible to the community.
Others, like @NDIDI_GRAM and @bloomstarbms, were exceptional at promoting projects. They explained projects in such a clear way that even a 12-year-old could understand them.
Meanwhile, @fastlife, @ardizor, and @CC2Ventures focused on airdrops, sharing strategies to position for them effectively.
We also had @RobberFarm, who hosted the iconic "Let's Chat" Twitter Spaces. These sessions were a prime example of what an Alpha-sharing space should be. You'd find contributors like Inversorca and Smartec dropping subtle (and sometimes hidden) Alphas, while listeners like @NDIDI_GRAM, @bloomstarbms @Wisdomatik eagerly took notes.
Back then the crypto space was organic, everybody wanted to be a meaningful contributor to a project. Some people don't even sell their airdrops because of the conviction they have in the project.
So, what happened? Why are some of these voices no longer active?
