Overnight at Starbase, @SpaceX rolled back Starship Flight 16's Booster 23 from Massey's to Mega Bay 1, following what we can only assume was a successful cryo testing campaign. Will this be the first booster to launch from Florida?? Find out with us! (Long timelapse, but up to you to find the SPMT noises... brrrrrrrttttt). @NASASpaceflight | nsf.live/starbase

🔥 Just another day at Stennis. Stage 2 successfully completed its first integrated hotfire! The A2 test stand was originally built in the 60s to support Saturn V Upper Stage testing (S-II). It was later reconfigured to be a single engine test stand for Shuttle Main Engine testing and development. The last Saturn V Stage test occurred October 30, 1970 on A2. It has been 55 years, 11 months, and 17 days since A2 supported stage testing capability. As of this morning, it is now 0 days.

Team Blue is building the infrastructure and hardware to meet the mission ahead of us. Take a look at our upper stage manufacturing facility at Rocket Park - it will produce up to 150 upper stages a year to support high launch cadence. This is one piece of a connected system designed to run at rate: manufacturing, integration, launch, recovery, refurbishment, and back to flight. Every step optimized for cadence.

So when do you think they're gonna be making the Roadster jump up and park on top of the Starship Giga Bay? They could call that feature the premium parking spot at Starbase.

New LC-36 render and a render of the new stage 2 production facility, set to be completed in the summer of 2027. Blue says they’re also preparing two new droneships and looking at additional launch pads on the space coast beyond the two at LC-36.
"Launching at a high cadence requires a connected system - one that manufactures vehicles at scale, prepares customer payloads efficiently, supports reliable launch operations, and quickly returns reusable boosters to service. We are building that system here in Florida." Read more from our Senior Vice President of Operations Ian Richardson. bit.ly/4hRC0xe
