hanging with people is good to catch up quickly on a subject and inspiring but It has its drawbacks especially on the creativity side. New ideas are found during times of isolation which is completely underrated in our current society.

Constantly claiming to be a victim is not a sign of virtue. It's a strategy for narcissists and psychopaths to get ahead. Data: people who regularly signal victimhood are more willing to lie, cheat, and steal. Beware those who air personal grievances like every day is Festivus.

If you live in a temperate climate, a big chunk of your needs are for space heating and hot water. What happens if you use mining hardware as a heater is that you make bitcoins while heating ! You still make wealth by spending your self-produced electricity !

But what you got is also the optionality to use the excess electricity you produce to mine. Exactly like an industrial solar plant, you can decide based on live prices what to do. Do you sell it to the grid, or do you mine more ?
