Awesome fun pre-season session for a mixed group of U12/13/14 players @CobhamRFC. Strong U12 squad of about 50, but as we’re running 3 x teams including a Development team, places available for new or experienced players who fancy joining! Especially neighbours @cobhamfreeschl

I always try and see the fair, rationale, almost overly positive side of things in rugby. But that Farrell decision has perplexed me.

We are disappointed that key amendments to better protect survivors of #ModernSlavery were rejected last night. As the Illegal Migration Bill is debated yet again, let’s pray together for the victims’ of modern slavery to have their voices heard by those in power.

Jesus calls us to welcome the stranger. The theme of this #RefugeeWeek has been compassion. Compassion is one of our values, a value we see radically demonstrated by Jesus. Find out how we are putting #CompassionIntoAction by supporting refugees: bit.ly/2EcREQ1

Thanks to @hookjameshook for the inspiration for my daughter's choice on #WorldBookDay. Superb book for kids to get them excited by reading. @CobhamRFC

Owen Farrell: Steve Borthwick's England captain. That's ANOTHER name to add to the list of elite coaches that clearly aren't as informed as the expert analysis of 'rugby twitter'.

Two tries during a yellow card seems high - especially at international level. Can anyone point me to stats on average points scored during a yellow card? @SamLStandsUp

Youngest daughter asked me which of the three Barrett brothers I rated most in the New Zealand team. Hard to answer due to different skill sets (and they're all awesome) but went with Beauden. He was yellow carded and England score two with him off.
