Today is European Fragile X Syndrome awareness day. #FragileX is a chromosomal abnormality and is the most common form of inherited learning disability. It's called Fragile X as the end of the chromosome looks like it's about to drop off.

Oh bless.
Will @SadiqKhan have the guts to apply to run in Starmer’s old seat? Or stick to his long mayoral run? Power is addictive, some don’t want to risk it. But a political life with no risk?

Venice has its sottoporteghi and Toledo its cobertizos. In Great Yarmouth, the alleys dating from past centuries are called Rows. There are 145 of them. Dove Row is No 119.

I know you’ll never watch them all but on the off chance you ever want to see how I work, here’s some of the process. Pencils, rubbers, paint, brushes, lovely paper and tired hands without painted nails. #womensart

Epistrophe grossulariae ♂ today in Bengeo garden, beautiful species identifiable by its almost straight black abdominal bands & habit of feeding at flowers without landing. Never recorded this species in May before. #climatechange

Before you light up your grill, lift the lid and check for nests. Wrens, finches, and sparrows all like to build inside grills. If you haven't used yours recently, there's a real chance something's in there. Songbirds fledge fast, they'll move on in a few weeks.

Today is the feast day of St Melangell, the patron saint of hares. 🐇⛪️ The daughter of an Irish king, she fled to Wales and founded a community of women in Powys. According to legend she was gifted the land after saving a hare from a pack of dogs. 🎨 Jemima Jameson
