Yep, that's right. During a moment of crisis for LA, Nithya Raman went to happy hour.

It should come as no surprise Nithya Raman doesn’t hold our police officers in high regard. But labeling them ‘fascists’ – when officers put on the uniform every day to keep us safe – is crossing the line.

NIthya, are you aware of this existing program under @MayorOfLA that’s been providing free trees to any LA resident or business, including street trees? I’ve used it! It’s great! I’m sure if you manage to win, you’ll take credit for it 🙄.

NITHYA RAMAN’S YEARS IN CHARGE
People keep blaming Karen Bass for L.A.’s homelessness crisis, including Nithya Raman.
But here’s what folks are missing: Raman was already chair of the City Council’s homelessness committee before Bass became mayor.
She’s had years in a leadership position dealing directly with this crisis.
So If she had the answers, why didn’t she fix it then? And why should anyone assume becoming mayor suddenly changes that?

Hey Nithya, when you hire East Coast consultants they do things like include the city of Glendale in your “East LA” graphic.
LA is HOT. But does it have to be this hot?
Did you know shade from a single tree can drop temps by 20° or more? Yet working-class neighborhoods like South LA, East LA, and the Valley get the least tree coverage and bear the brunt of extreme heat. Let's change that and finally cool things down for everyone.

Political campaigns and dark-money groups paying influencers without disclosing is the final nail in the coffin for democracy. @Kdoespolitics is unearthing something nuclear here, and if we don't do something about it it will ruin everything for everyone.

As a native Angeleno, I’ve spent more years fighting for our communities as a grassroots organizer than as an elected official. I’m not a visitor. I’m not a tourist. I’ve built deep relationships with the people who move Los Angeles forward. Raising my children in a blended Latino family has deepened my connection to the cultures and communities that shape our city. Those relationships guide my work as mayor every day.
