Donations to Trump Accounts are awesome b/c it is easy.
have a super streamlined default makes ppl more likely to be charitable.
right now, crazy as it sounds, if you want to give away $1-10 billion...it's a lot of work! create a foundation, hire staff, pick objectives...etc etc.
lots of folks don't get around to it.
if you create an easy, culturally accepted default...the world will become more charitable than it ever has been.

The most powerful thing we can give the next generation is ownership in the future.
Giving every child a stake in innovation and technology with @TrumpAccounts can help make the American dream more tangible for millions of families. Long-term thinking starts early.

Proud to know Matt and to support this game-changing policy!

Absolute patriots @MichaelDell @altcap deserve our endless thanks for kicking off this movement of direct giving to America’s children. Along with @MattLira leading the @InvestAmerica24 organization behind the scenes. Only the beginning 🇺🇸🚀

530A accounts ("Trump Accounts") are a great solution for many ultra-wealthy Americans who are philanthropically inclined, do not want a foundation staff, do want to give while living, and haven't been inspired by existing nonprofits. It's an American version of “GiveDirectly."
Backed by the US Treasury, the financial infrastructure to do this at national scale is now in place and fully operational.
I commend Anthropic on their philanthropic commitments in lieu of a founder equity IPO grant. It is an extraordinary gift - but also understand concerns about foundation wealth concentration. Like Elon - I hope a meaningful portion of AI’s wealth is a direct dividend. 🇺🇸🤍🚀@InvestAmerica24 @TrumpAccounts

Very strong statement just released by Archbishop Timothy Broglio of the Military Services on the scheduled public execution of Nidal Malik Hasan, posted here in part:
"...Do we really want to imitate the terrorists of this world and make a public spectacle of barbarically killing our adversaries?
The crime committed by Nidal Malik Hasan was heinous, but does exposing the public to his execution serve any purpose?
Has the potential moral injury, which the members of the firing squad might experience, been considered?
Will the exposure of a live-stream to the young and impressionable during the 250th anniversary year of our independence be able to be repaired? The US military generally enjoys a good reputation in the world. Is there really a value to throwing them in the same boat with terrorists by broadcasting the image of the execution of a man in a wheel chair to the whole world? Does this decision reflect the dignity of the human person?
I call upon all men and women of good will to ask that this decision be reconsidered and, at the very least, do what is possible to keep the exposure to the live-streaming of the proposed execution from the vision of the young and impressionable.
As I would in the case of a procured abortion, I oblige any Catholics assigned to the firing squad to request to be excused from this action contrary to the teaching of the Church."
American Heroes, thank you @SusanDell @MichaelDell

Georgia high school students stage a fight to bait their principal to break it up, so they could sing him happy birthday.
Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School principal Bobby Davis was seen sprinting to the fight to break it up.
After Davis ripped the prank fight apart, the students started singing happy birthday.
"He single-handedly changed me for the better, and he knows I could never take it for granted," said the student who came up with the idea.
"the things he’s done during my time at LFO are truly memories i’d die with. i was so happy to come up with this idea and do it for him."
What a ridiculous way to frame @katiemiller having her kids birthday party on a military base that she was forced to move to after many threats from people wanting to murder her kids.
The actual story is the national tragedy that political violence is such a concern today.

A new era of philanthropy has begun, and the response from families nationwide has been incredible!
Every American child has a 530A Trump Account, and giving directly to kids is now easy and fully operational.
Gifts go from term sheet to delivered in just days, reaching children in your local community, your state, or across the entire country 🇺🇸
Hope I don't get sued for this 😂

Probably the most impressive single philanthropic effort I have ever seen. Why move $ through lossy non-profits when you can do direct wealth transfer. Hyper efficient. Much respect to @MichaelDell and Susan!
Susan Dell, wife of Dell Technologies CEO Michael Dell, encouraged families to register for Trump Accounts while speaking alongside the president on Wednesday. After Mrs. Dell’s speech, President Trump asked Mr. Dell whether his wife was considering running for office and gave her his "complete and total endorsement." The Dells previously pledged a donation of $6.25 billion to the Trump Accounts.
