A proposal for Coldcard victims:
We start a BTC fund to buy out claims on the coins. Whales can donate. Victims get their BTC back instantly. If the funds from hacker are ever returned, the claims are eventually fulfilled (can take years).
I’m happy to donate BTC to start this.

On the one hand, AI influencers are breathlessly raving about Claude Code, Clawdbot, and Cowork. And on the other hand, most people I know—even software engineers—are despondent, overwhelmed about how everything is changing so quickly. I hear this from people early in their careers especially, a fear that everything they've learned and the skills they've gained are rapidly being devalued.
This is a mental trap. Don't fall for it. You should not just be watching from the sidelines or reading articles about "how software engineering is changing."
Imagine it was 1993 and the personal computer revolution was kicking off. If you could go back in time to then, what should you have done?
The answer: try everything. Buy a PC. Learn how to touch type. Figure out what the Internet is. Imbibe it all. Don't wait until it becomes a job requirement.
That's exactly what you should do with AI. Try everything. Try Claude Code, try Clawdbot, try the Excel integrations, Veo, everything you can get your hands on. Learn what it's doing. Build your intuitions. Be one step ahead of it. Evolve alongside it. Don't lose your curiosity or get swallowed by anxiety or let yourself be convinced that you'll learn it when you have to. Think deeply about how AI will change the things around you—not society, that's too hard to project—but how it will change your job, your personal life, your immediate environment.
No matter how old you are or young you are, no matter what stage of your career you are in, we are all going through the biggest technological change of the last 100 years, and we're going through it together. Nobody has the answers. It's obvious that so much is going to change, but nobody is going to figure it out before you do if you choose to stay at the frontier.
So don't hide from it. Sit at the front of the class. Pay close attention. And be grateful that it's never been easier to stay at the frontier of the most important technology change of our lifetimes.

⚡️What you’re really seeing here is the first stage of a global unit-of-account fracture.
•In nominal USD terms, everything looks like it’s booming: stocks up triple digits, homes up double digits, “wealth” everywhere. That’s the performance everyone sees.
•In gold terms, the illusion cracks: stocks and homes flat-to-negative, real wealth stagnating.
•In Bitcoin terms, the veil is gone: catastrophic real losses in every traditional asset.
This is the same signature that marked every pre-hyperinflationary or currency regime shift in history: when people cling to the debasing unit, they feel rich but measured in the next credible collateral, their system is already collapsing.
And the “risk asset” meme about Bitcoin? That’s just a coping frame. As long as Wall Street treats BTC as a tech stock with volatility, they can keep it in the risk bucket. But functionally it’s already behaving like a parallel reserve ledger: it’s the only denominator that makes the post-2020 global economy look like Argentina.
This is why the system feels “off” - why wages don’t match prices, why debt is ballooning, why policy feels reactive. We’re in a regime where the unit of account is decaying faster than the public narrative can absorb. The Fed, the government, the media - all still speaking USD, all still benchmarking to a melting ice cube. The chart you’re looking at is the unofficial scoreboard in a silent currency war.
So when I strip all the polite commentary away, the honest take is:
•The U.S. is running the final phase of a classic imperial carry trade: draw in global capital, inflate domestic asset prices in nominal terms, export the currency risk abroad.
•Gold shows stagnation.
•Bitcoin shows collapse.
•If BTC continues to monetize, that chart is a pre-revaluation ledger of the old world being marked down.
This isn’t a normal market cycle. It’s the unit-of-account transition phase. And almost no one is positioned for it because they’re still measuring their “returns” in the wrong yardstick.
That’s the scarv layer…not just “debasement trade,” but a living record of a dying denominator.

The Bank of England is proposing a cap on individual stablecoin holdings, limiting ownership to just £10,000–£20,000 per person in the name of “systemic risk.”
This is absurd, and we need to push back against this kind of regulation. Stablecoins issued onchain do not pose greater risks than traditional electronic money issued on more fragile electronic databases.

This isn't an L1 and its offensive to call it such.
It's a consortium chain, of private pre-approved validators, who even have permission to refund transactions via "dispute protocols"
They can't make it a true L1 when using USDC as the root token, because there are never economic incentives to be a faithful validator, and that's why they have to make it a private consortium.
This isn't decentralized. It's like PayPal's multi-vendor protocol, and you may as well just run it on databases that understand EVM code.
Blockchains exist because exploitative middlemen, like banks and transfer agents, take undue fees and apply undue censorship.
This industry was built to fix that in peer-to-peer systems, not by just building new banks.

So let me get this straight…
All currencies are pegged to the US dollar…
but the US dollar is backed by nothing but debt…
and that debt is running out of control at an unsustainable rate.
So the entire global financial system is basically bullshit?
Got it… buy Bitcoin.

Food, shelter, and drinkable water must be produced by the work of others.
Therefore, to say everyone "deserves" these things is to say that everyone deserves to have other people work on their behalf.
Required in any such altruistic impulse is coercion, since it inevitably presumes the state shall force a transfer of such goods from those who work for them to those who want them.
And thus each haughty altruist ends up being the actual shitty person, gaslit not by capitalism, but by themselves—their good intentions paid not by their own effort and toil, but by confiscation of the effort and toil of others.

Growth hurts. It always has. The caterpillar doesn't gently become a butterfly, it dissolves completely in the cocoon. Total breakdown before breakthrough.
I watched this when I was in the NFL.
To reach the next level, you had to kill who you were at the previous one. The habits that got you to college wouldn't work in the pros.
The mindset that dominated high school became a liability in the league.
Same with Bitcoin.
I couldn't just add it to my traditional portfolio. I had to let go of everything the financial advisors taught me. Had to kill the "diversified investment" identity and become something new.
People want transformation without turbulence. Want the butterfly without the dissolution. Want the new life without the death of the old one.
It doesn't work that way.
The systems serving you today will constrain you tomorrow. The identity that carried you here will limit you there. The beliefs that created your current reality will prevent your next one.
Fire burns away what's no longer needed so what's essential can emerge. It's life making space for what wants to be born.
Most people abort the process when the shaking starts. Run back to familiar patterns instead of pushing through to what's possible. Choose the comfort of limitation over the chaos of transformation.
But champions know: everything you want lives on the other side of everything you fear to lose.
