If 400 backers support the third #SirSherlock CD from @AUK_Studios, they'll include a free poignant audio vignette between Mrs. Hudson and her grandneice; with #JuneHudson (#TomBaker's friend, #DoctorWho costume designer, and actress) playing her namesake. kickstarter.com/projects/152…

This absolutely made my heart sing. ❤️ The legendary costume designer and national treasure June Hudson discovering the Blake’s 7 Series B Production Diary and apparently going through it page by page! Huge thanks to @AlexMoore99 for sharing these wonderful pictures, and especially for passing on June’s lovely reaction to the book. Knowing it brought back happy memories of her BBC days, and that she enjoyed seeing her extraordinary work and that of Barbara Lane celebrated in its pages, means more to me than I can say. Grahame, Carol and I put so much love and respect into these books. Moments like this remind us exactly why we do it. ❤️ #Blakes7

Oliver does this so brilliantly. And this is why connecting to the past is such a lovely thing. It’s not just finding the missing shows : it’s what they represent to the people in them (and their loved ones).

I can only imagine the time this video takes Toby every year. It is a beautiful tribute to so many talented people on both sides of the camera, who have worked on Doctor Who, amongst other many things.
Time to look back at 2025 one more time. My annual Doctor Who In Memoriam is on You Tube now. Please watch, like and circulate. Oh, and please just be nice about it and Doctor Who as there are plenty of other places you can be otherwise. youtu.be/mfNDgewmlEU?si=iosi…

Please listen to Absent Friends (in which I remember contributors to sci-fi, horror and fantasy who left us this year) on Radio 4 Extra at 16.45 (repeated at 00.45). Part 2 is tomorrow. 4 Extra doesn’t make many original productions so do tune in, it’s a labour of love.
