Anyone that knows my Dad knows what a perfectionist he is (you only have to look at his work to see that!), & how much he knows and cares about his field, which is why this is so frustrating for him. It’s still the most wonderful book though. He never stops making me proud ❤️

Arghhh - The MORTIFYING realisation, that due to over zealous editing, my text was altered, introducing a bad error that I didn’t pick up, until it was too late to correct. Ultimately though, my responsibility. Reviewers * I do know bumblebees mate in summer, not spring!

Don't let people tell you that because you still wear a mask or take lateral flow tests before meeting up with people that you are "living in fear". To me it demonstrates that you care about your fellow humans. It's something to be admired, not scorned.

To the awful ‘human’ on my train - if you don’t want to wear a mask, fine - you do you. But have the common decency to put your hand over your mouth when coughing. Absolutely disgusting, even pre-COVID. And yes, I did say this to his face, and no, he didn’t have a reply. #wanker

.@British_Airways I keep getting an email saying my COVID travel documents can’t be verified for my flight back to the UK today. I’ve uploaded all the documents (the same as my husband’s, who’s been verified) & tried 4 times now. When I log in it doesn’t even say why. Please help

Shrill Carder Bee on Red Bartsia, almost finished. The rarest bumblebee in England and Wales, and one of the most charismatic. The background plants often take longer to paint than the main subjects.
