In a field of 17 candidates, I came 8th. And for the second time in three years, I beat UKIP and Piers Corbyn in a democratic election. If that’s not a sign of hope, nothing is.

For the fourth time, this has now happened. We'll be speaking with senior GMP Officers and I'll be asking to meet with the Mayor regarding this. Our community and businesses who work in our communities must feel and be safe. If they aren't, they are being let down.
Unfortunately I can confirm that @CZManchester has been attacked for a fourth time.

Today we remember the 97 and all those affected by the Hillsborough disaster.
As we reflect, let us also remember their legacy - that of an enduring campaign for truth.
No one should ever again suffer the injustices inflicted on them.

BREAKING 🚨 | DP World is the company behind the brutal and ILLEGAL sacking of 800 workers at P&O ferries.
The government has just AWARDED them the contract to co-run the new Thames Estuary freeport.
Appalling, appalling decision.
