At times, there are words that when put together to form a specific sentence can cause a physical reaction we call a shock.
A Europa será destruída por mulheres que projetam naqueles animais a maternidade que cabia aos filhos que elas abortaram.

My 6 yr old son asked a serious metaphysical questions that I don’t even know how to approach. “If people watch us like a movie the way we watch people in a movie.” When should I introduce him to simulation theory?

I’m trying codex for the first time and it’s completely unusable. One prompt and five minutes in and it’s hit the 5 hour usage limit. This is so lame.

Owning a house is terrible. It’s never flowers growing around that make it beautiful. No, instead it’s a rat that died in the crawl space and it’s stinking up the house.

This is what spam calls actually took from us, getting a positive unexpected phone call.
Jensen reveals he first met the Founder of TSMC by cold calling their number off Yellow Pages "I heard about this company in Taiwan, TSMC and UMC at the time. They were of course quite poor companies themselves, and they were barely making it." "TSMC was probably about $300 million, something like that. It's a tiny little company. I heard about Morris Chang. And so I tried to call their US office." "Back in the old days there were yellow pages. I looked it up, TSMC. There's a number there. I called their number and it's a recording. I left my name and my number and said a few things about NVIDIA: we're a new startup company building computer graphics chips. I called several times. Nobody called me back." "And so I finally wrote a letter to Morris Chang. Didn't hear anything for a long time, and then one day it was 6 o'clock or something, this person called and said 'this is Morris Chang from TSMC.'" "And meanwhile, everybody outside my office was playing video games and they're all laughing and screaming. 'Hey shut up! It's Morris!' I was so happy that the founder would actually call us back, because hey, maybe we won't have to die." "And so we talked and he invited me to Taiwan. I came back to Taiwan, and that was the start of everything. Not just that partnership, but just the whole industry."

I took my first red eye flight last night and the hippie couple next to me pulled out a tubberware container in the beginning of the flight. It was spaghetti and some red sauce. They then… they then began to eat it with their hands… wtf The rest of the flight was them farting their nasty pasta. Nah, no more red eyes for me.

I will never accept what middle management and pencil pushers took from us. We used to build great things and damn those with opinions and thoughts. Now we need a 6-month commission and millions to build a street lamp. We need to demolish our permit system.

We should’ve introduced the word slop into our lexicon before ai came about because this is OG slop
Plans for the weekend? I'm doing this with all my light bulbs!

My 6 year old is so interesting. He started asking me if people watch us like we’re in a movie? That’s very meta way of thinking for his age, I think. Should I start introducing him to simulation theory?

what is wrong with europe? seriously? what the hell are you guys smoking over there? at this point, they need another world war to get their heads back to reality.
Berlin-based search engine Ecosia, used by government services, is dropping its French AI partner, Mistral, its CEO told POLITICO. The company will now bet on open-source models, including those from China. vist.ly/5mh5y

I love that AI has completely distributed knowledge to people beyond their capabilities. I now write legal documents in seconds with all bases covered and the same quality as $1500 lawyer fees. I can create images to implement my vision for game. Write code to improve my life beyond my area of expertise. I love AI.

Can you imagine that, in a million years, scientists will find this as a fossil and truly believe hot dogs grew on trees?

Now that the US is pulling out of RAF Fairford, Greece should hand over one of its 5,000 uninhabited islands to host a US airbase in exchange for protection, similar to the Greenland deal. They’ll need it against Turkey when NATO collapses. And it’d give US a strategic location for future missions.

Apparently, you can make up random stuff and people will believe you. Do people seriously believe this? First of all, it’s called a mosh pit. Calling it a circle pit is lame and very telling. I’ve been to multiple mosh pits and they easily go either way. We would literally switch directions every 5-10 minutes sometimes.
Did you know that there is AN ACTUAL STUDY about circle pits and how they rotate counter clockwise? It blew my mind, I could NOT think of a single pit I’ve been to where people are going clockwise (unless they are crowd killing or forming after a wall of death)

Claude Opus 5.5 just took a big drop on NerfBench. Yesterday it was scoring above launch. Today it's at 94.2%. GPT 6 Astra: 98.0% Sonnet 5.5: 100.9% GPT 6.1 Sol: 106.7% 94.2% is still inside normal variance, so we can't call it a nerf yet. But we're watching Opus 5.5 very closely.

It’s time to dissolve all reservations. No more of this dual system of jurisdiction within the US. Time to fold them in and be a single nation under the same banner.
This issue has been brewing for half a decade, and the Department of Fish and Wildlife hasn't done anything to fix it. Anglers and guides have complained about tribal harassment for years. Tribal harassment on a river outside of their jurisdiction is the new norm. A statement from WDFW to be cautious isn't good enough this is the United State of America!!!! It's time for the United States of America to set them straight on where reservation boundaries start and stop. This is tribal overreach that must and will end. #ChehalisRiver #WDFW #TribalOverreach #FishingRights #PublicAccess #BadgerFishing

PNW has some of the densest fogs I've seen in the US. If the apocalypse happens here, it'll look like "Silent Hill". We already have the zombies in Portland so it'll be fitting.

Some people are literally not going to make it in the new AI world. Normal people who embrace AI will accelerate far past their counterparts in every attribute, so there will be two distinct subgroups of humans. This is like Amazonian tribes with no concept of numbers or abstract thinking. They cannot even comprehend things they have never seen. Now contrast that with humans enhanced by AI, with general knowledge and thinking in nth-order effects. This gap will only grow and accelerate in the near future... So long, and thanks for all the fish.
