🚨 Nico Paz reveals the message Alexis Mac Allister sent him after his brace against Manchester United: 🎙️ Interviewer: “Nico, two goals in a 4–1 victory over Manchester United. What did Alexis Mac Allister say to you afterwards, especially knowing how proud he is of his fellow Argentinians? Nico Paz: “Macca messaged me almost immediately! He congratulated me, told me to enjoy the moment, and then started talking about Liverpool. I told him, ‘Alexis, I’ve just scored twice against Manchester United. Let me enjoy my night first!’ “But that’s Macca. He’s always looking out for Argentine players, and he genuinely believes in me. He told me I have the quality to play at the highest level, that my vision, creativity and ability to find space between the lines make me a special kind of midfielder” “Then he said something that made me laugh. He told me that if I ever wanted to experience a proper football atmosphere, I should come and see what Anfield is like. I said, ‘Are you congratulating me or trying to get me to sign for Liverpool?’ He replied, ‘Both!’ “Seriously, hearing that from someone like Alexis means a lot. He knows what it takes to succeed at Liverpool, and when a player of his quality speaks about you like that, you listen. He wasn’t just praising my two goals; he was talking about the kind of player he believes I can become” “I’m proud to share the same national colours as him. But Macca, please stop trying to recruit me after every good performance! Let me build my own career first. If Liverpool really want me, they know where to find me.” Interviewer: “So, after scoring twice in a 4–1 win over Manchester United, are you saying Liverpool could be your next destination? Nico Paz: “I’m saying Alexis is a very persuasive man! But if you ask United fans, they’ll probably tell you the worst part of that 4–1 wasn’t the scoreline it was Macca using the result to recruit another Argentine for Liverpool!”
