Very sad to learn of Alun Carter’s passing.
An all round top bloke.

Shocked at the sudden passing of Pontypool, Newport and Wales flanker Alun Carter. Blazed a trail post-retirement as the WRU's long-term head analyst: Wembley 1999, then the best of the 21st century Grand Slams. Gone way too soon at 59. Thinking of his family and friends.
A few snaps from yesterday’s ride around Snowdonia in support of The Matt Gallagher Foundation.
105 miles
9,000 feet ascent.
This Saturday, 8th June, I’ll be taking part in the Moel Siabod Sportif Bike Ride. We’ll be cycling 105 miles with a 9000ft ascent in Snowdonia whilst raising funds for the Matt Gallagher Foundation.
Matt Gallagher was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in October and (1/6)
I’ll be joining old rugby pals @chris_pennell, @j_arr, Ben Gerry and Nick Baxter amongst others and cycling 105 miles in Snowdonia on Saturday.

If you can spare a few pounds to support the Matt Gallagher Foundation then we’d be hugely grateful. 🙏🏻

A privilege to be involved and some serious talent in both sides. 🏉
