Good morning from the #SADCSouthAfrica Summit in Durban!
#Austria has long been a trusted partner of the Southern African Development Community. Over the years, Austria was Lead International Cooperating Partner for #energy and Co-Chair of the #Peace and #Security Thematic Group.
I look forward to today’s discussions, as the region aims to:
➡️ Ensure that member states move from resource provision to value chain integration,
➡️ Support the green transition as an industrial opportunity,
➡️ Strengthen the skills partnership, incl. on TVET.
