Honoured to have the opportunity to join in the minute’s applause in memory of Derek tonight. A thoroughly great guy who always put a smile on everyone’s face. 🧡
We were deeply saddened to hear of the news that lifelong Pool supporter Derek Duckworth sadly passed away late last week.
Those attending this evening are asked to come together on the 67th minute to remember a lifelong Seasider who gave so much to the Club.

37 years of fantastic service to County, a man who doted on the match officials, polite, professional, understated. Chris was devastated when only a few weeks ago he had to give up his matchday role due to failing health. RIP Chris. 💙
In 25 years of working in football, I honestly can’t think of anyone I could put above @MacauleySoutham in terms of being so selfless, genuine, and humble. Myself, the players, and staff will miss him dearly. 💙
The Club can confirm that @MacauleySoutham will be departing this Summer, after five years of exemplary service at Edgeley Park.
Macca's presence will be missed in and around the dressing room, but we wish our Genius From Wales all the best in the next chapter of his career 💙
This is such sad news. Had the pleasure of spending time with Kev when he was represented by the football agency I worked at. He was always so incredibly bubbly and chipper. A genuinely lovely guy who was always smiling. A really sombre day for the footballing community.
Such incredibly sad news. What a warrior. The work that both Rob Burrow and Kevin Sinfield have done to raise awareness of MND has been remarkable. The fight must continue to find a cure for this devastating illness.
It is with deep sadness that the club can confirm that former player Rob Burrow CBE has passed away, aged 41.

A vital part of @StockportCounty sustainable future development is the retention of our talented young professionals, allowing them to grow with the club.
Congratulations to Cody Johnson, Ethan Pye, and Ryan Rydel, on signing new deals with the club this week.
💙
Dave Challinor thanks @countythomo in his club interview, noting he had spoken to Dave about son George and got hold of the flag at FT.
DC says he spoke to the players about it and "although it can't undo the grief, we hope it's something for the family from us" #stockportcounty
Brilliant to chat with legend Alan Kennedy today about some of his memories of the great League and European Cup winning teams @LFC
Massive congrats to @_LiamCash @justinpic and the team 👏🏻👏🏻

So incredibly sad. Sincere condolences and love to Sean, his family, and all at @ASFCofficial ❤️
We are all absolutely devastated to hear that the mother of Sean McConville’s three children, Jenna, passed away this morning.
We ask people to respect Sean’s privacy at this heartbreaking time and that of Jenna’s family.
Sean wants to spend his energy helping their children cope with their beautiful mum’s death.
Forever in our hearts Jenna ❤️
Great article @DTathletic 👏🏻

Once took a player to Stevenage when GW was Manager. In his office with him, John Mousinho and player, GW told the animal yoga story, concerned the deal was under threat, myself and the player got down on the floor and rose up into his face to roar like tigers…closed the deal!
To celebrate @LeeTrundle10’s birthday…
Here’s Graham Westley at his best on the hilarious time he made Lee Trundle pretend to be an elephant before signing him 🤣🤣🤣

Jason would be so unbelievably proud. Congratulations @Official_NCFC 👏🏻
Football can act as such a powerful force for good. Absolutely love this. 💛
We’d like you to meet Frazer, our eight year-old fan.
He is blind after going through 64 operations to try and save his eyesight, but he is still full of joy 💛
We wanted to give him the best day of his life.

What a powerful tribute to Jase. Echo the sentiments shared about him. When I started at Nottingham Forest, living away from family, he acted as my guide to assist me to find a place to live. He will certainly be watching down screaming Notts on, hopefully to promotion 🖤
