In games like PSG v Barcelona it's hard to criticise. Just brilliant to sit back and admire the quality on show.

No English teenager has more goals in Europe's top five leagues so far this season than #SaintsFC's Jay Robinson out on loan at Monza. 💫

Still yet to see #SaintsFC play their strongest team this season, unfortunately. Think most would agree that is: Peretz; Bree, Stephens/Wood, Schlotterbeck, Manning, Downes, Jander, Scienza, Azaz, Matsuki; Larin. Hopefully in the near future 🤞

3rd in the scoring ranks in the Championship behind West Ham and Middlesbrough, and 2nd best side in terms of goals conceded. Obviously have to factor in the -4pts, but a good start to the season from #SaintsFC. Still haven't seen them at their best, or play their best XI, too.

Not our day 🤷‍♂️
Leo Scienza crosses the ball into the box, which is clearly blocked by the sliding hand of Rueben Rodrigues of Bolton.

Such a poor performance from #SaintsFC. Criminal decision from the referee not to award a penalty - would have changed the narrative, no idea why that's not been given. Had to take chances and didn't. 7 point week, so not horrendous but should have been nine.

Clearest penalty you'll see all year, right under the noses of the referee and assistant. Ridiculous decision. #SaintsFC

Want to see #SaintsFC put Scienza on the left and Fellows on the right in the second half. They've got control of the game, but need to stretch the field more to make the most of that possession.

Bolton's high line is working for now. #SaintsFC playing some good football, Cam Bragg has been great.

41.9% - Following their victory over Norwich City last night, Southampton have now spent 41.9% of their Championship matches this season in winning positions - the highest percentage in the competition. Form. #OptaOnEFL
