Former NFL Player Arrested, Now Running for California Assembly as Democrat
Heads up, Coastal Orange County: 🍊The contrast between the candidates running for Diane Dixon’s open Assembly seat in Orange County is stark when it comes to their views on Israel and American foreign policy: 🔵Across multiple post-10/7 BlueSky posts and podcast appearances, Democrat Chris Kluwe set out his beliefs: 🤥Kluwe falsely accused Israel of committing “genocide” on at least 6 occasions and accused the US of facilitating it; 🙀Kluwe advocated for vetoing all military aid to Israel “until they stop following Hitler’s playbook;” 🇵🇸Kluwe called Israel a “rogue state” with the “US not far behind” after an Israeli airstrike on a military target killed Hamas terrorists who also moonlighted as Al Jazeera “journalists” in Gaza 🚔Kluwe was arrested in 2025 for rushing the dais at a City Council meeting. Prior to the disturbance, his remarks at the meeting equated MAGA to Nazis. He lost his high school coaching job as a result of the arrest and, having nothing else to do, decided to run for office. 🪧He supported pro-Hamas protestor Mahmoud Khalil. ❌Kluwe is supported by antizionist orgs like the California Teachers Assn and the CA Working Families Party. ****** 🌗In contrast: 🔴Huntington Beach City Councilwoman and Republican candidate for this race, Gracey Van Der Mark, has a record of support for Israel & the Jewish community she serves. 🏃🏻‍♀️@DerGracey was recruited to run for office by Jewish leaders in her local community 🇮🇱Gracey, along with @TonyStrickland , co-sponsored a City Council resolution in support of Israel and condemning Hamas immediately after 10/7. It passed, but the Democrat Councilmembers refused to sign it. This happened at the same time as other cities across California considered ceasefire resolutions. 👯While Gracey served on City Council in 2025, Huntington Beach hosted an Israel delegation and entered a twin-city partnership with Ramat Gan in Israel. This happened around the same time as Irvine and Santa Ana considered twin-city partnership with Gaza City ✅Gracey is endorsed by the Jewish Civic Action Network. Additionally, her husband has Jewish heritage and the church they attend is a supporter of Israel. The 72nd Assembly District covers Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Aliso Viejo, Lake Forest, Laguna Hills, Laguna Woods, and parts of Seal Beach and Huntington Beach. These cities are home to large Jewish and Christian Zionist voters who would be very interested to know these starkly contrasting records.

Ohio Democratic Senate nominee Sherrod Brown just pledged that he will not vote to confirm any Trump judicial nominees regardless of their qualifications. So not only would the Democrats pack the Court, but they will block any new judges to purge the courts through attrition.

THIRTY FIVE YEARS AGO tonight at this very hour, Justice Clarence Thomas lowered the boom and utterly destroyed the Democrats’ efforts to destroy him with one of the biggest lies ever concocted. Anita Hill’s story was 100% a lie, and the American people knew it, with the NYT/CBS poll showing Americans believed Thomas 58%-24%, with only 26% of women believing Hill at the end of those hearings. God Bless Justice Thomas for not backing down and having the strength to fight back and crush the lies of Anita Hill and her Democrat allies. And a big shout out to his wonderful wife, Ginni, who was a rock of support and leaned into the fight. Justice Thomas is our nation's greatest Justice.

I am getting lots of incoming questions about the public execution of Nidal Hasan, mostly because I have been outspoken on wanting public executions for over a decade. My position is simple: Executions should be public and brutal, not private and medicalized. They are the ultimate example of the state's monopoly on violence, and the only way to keep that from running out of control is to confront voters with the trade they have made every single time, that they might have appropiate confidence or revulsion in the institution. This is not new thinking. George Washington thought the same. The way we have shifted from hanging to firing squads to doctors quietly injecting chemicals that send our worst gently off to sleep is awful and dystopian, a total short-circuiting of important feedback mechanisms. It makes needless executions more likely, not less so. People who demean this as barbaric or yucky miss the whole point. It doesn't somehow become torture or inhumane (as the UN is suddenly claiming) just because we decline to hide the act behind a curtain. And then there are those who suggest any revel in the death of those who truly deserve it is an indicator of a broken or diseased mind. To the contrary. It is normal, good, and aligned with our natural and national order. That it has not been done here in 60 years is an indictment in and of itself. And that is without even getting into the fact that men were not hung for stealing horse, but that horses may not be stolen. "I would to God that one of the most attrocious in each State was hung in Gibbets, up on a gallows five times as high as the one prepared by Haman. No punishment, in my opinion, is too great for the Man, who can build his greatness upon his Country’s ruin." - George Washington, 1778

Replying to @ABC
@ABC is refusing to correct this lie. @ByNathanLee's "analysis" is totally bogus, and he knows it, because Anduril provided him with the actual numbers - 1789 Capital has only invested a total of $50M in Anduril, and this so-called "major stake" is about 1/1000th of the company. The claim of $6B+ in "active or promised government contracts" is also a lie. Most of that amount is in hypothetical contract ceilings, which are (by design) larger than the government or the contractor expect to transact. The problem for Nathan and ABC, which they also know, is that a bunch of people, including the Governor, assumed they were telling the truth and acted on it. Admitting they got this wrong would make a legal judgement against them trivially easy. And so they lie.
Replying to @ABC
"1789 Capital -- a venture capital firm that lists Donald Trump Jr. as one of six partners along with three founders -- claimed a major stake in Anduril in June 2025 from a $2.5 billion investment into the company." This is not true. You are lying. Please correct your lies.

Anduril is building America's largest shipyard since WWII. This space needs bold investment and decisive action. In the 1790s, Baltimoore clippers were the fastest and most advanced sailing ships of their time. King George III didn't stand a chance. Time to run the same play.
Anduril is investing $3.7B into Arsenal-2. The next great American Shipyard.

The party that opposes domestic oil supply and new refineries, and forces much higher gas prices in states like CA, hopes to win the midterms based on gas prices.
.@ScottJenningsKY just asked the CNN NewsNight table a simple question: Does anybody support building a single oil refinery so America can increase diesel supply? Abby Phillip: “It’s a silly argument.” Jennings, from the top rope: “Democrats have argued against domestic energy forever. And now you want me to trust them on gas prices?”

Andrew Ross Sorkin gushes over Trump's new America. gov website on live TV while Joe Kernen sits there stunned. Sorkin is not a Trump fan, and he lets that be known. But the moment he said the word "credit," Kernen nearly fell out of his chair. SORKIN: “I want to be clear. I am actually not critical of the president in this instance at all, because I actually think it was great to bring everybody together.” “For 29,000 websites, the ability to get a passport, the ability to get your medicare. I mean, the it was like being at a product. It was like being at an Apple product announcement. And when they went through what they did and the president was there in the morning and walked through what they were doing, and Marco Rubio was there, Scott Bessent was there, the whole cabinet was there. It was one of those moments where you actually thought the government was working for you, really? And Gebbia deserves an extraordinary amount of praise for it.” KERNEN: “Do you feel great? Are you have the warmest fuzziest feeling right now listening.” SORKIN: “And by the way, the president deserves credit for that." KERNEN: "Oh my God!" SORKIN: "Credit for putting you in that role. And Jeb and his team putting it all together.” KERNEN: “So now I'm getting hot flashes. Wow. So this is just amazing.” CONTEXT (What happened): Trump launched America. gov, a single government site meant to replace 29,000 federal websites for things like passports and Medicare. It was built by Airbnb co-founder Joe Gebbia, and Sorkin was in the room for the demo. Sorkin also credited the Trump accounts interface as "really easy to use" and "like using a real app."
