While yes, there are flaws in blue Kaioken that could be remedied by introducing it later, say against Merged Zamasu (Goku using a Kai’s technique with a godly form vs a Kai using a godly power with Goku’s body), I think it’s not as bad as the downsides that the manga has.

All in all, I think between the two, blue kaioken’s utility in the anime outstrips the god-to-blue switch in the manga in terms of hype, quality, and story progression. Hopefully my analysis of this taught you guys a thing or two, so what do y’all think?
