Obsession made $500M on a $750k budget… quite possibly the furthest thing from “death of cinema”

they represent the death of cinema.

The day after her win, Mikey Madison joined Jennifer Lawrence as the second actress born in the ’90s to win the Academy Award for Best Actress. They are the only actresses born in the 90s to win Best Actress at the Oscars.

still thinking about the incredible ending of carrie’s penultimate episode… her covered in pig’s blood as everyone laughs, her rage building before the screen cuts to black and all we hear are screams… i never clicked on next episode so fcking fast #carrie

Mike Flanagan: “My Carrie is going to be a whole new interpretation so please don’t go into it expecting most characters to act the exact same as they had in the novel.” Y’all: “Why the fuck isn’t this like the book??? This is supposed to resemble the book? The book. The book!!”
luxx♡♡@luxxcvntydreamzOct 7
This is just so inaccurate. Carrie would honestly sit there and take it, and even if she did say something, she wouldn't dare cuss in front of her mom. Also, why are the adults on Carrie's side? The point of the story is that they would rather victim-blame than help Carrie.

Spider-Noir was apparently great, like really great, yet it faded from the cultural zeitgeist in under a week. It was barely talked about, had no staying power and honestly? Many have forgotten it came out at all. Lanterns on the other hand is enjoying a historic run for a reason. Weekly > Binge
