Cam Schlittler doesn't really have it but he's making some big pitches. Hilarious that a position player on this roster tried to do "Pitchers can't win MVP" discourse when Schlittler is dragging this team into the fourth with a real chance to win.

Yankees outscored the Red Sox by 16 runs in Games 1 and 2. That's tied with 1951 WS Gm 4 & 5 for the 2nd-biggest run differential over any 2-game span in Yankees postseason history. The biggest is 23 runs in 1960 WS Gm 2 & 3.

Cam Schlittler finishes the season with a 1.16 road ERA. The only pitcher in American League history with a lower ERA on the road is Walter Johnson's 1.06 in 1913 (min. 15 GS).

Cam Schlittler has allowed no more than one run in 21 of his 31 starts this season. In the last 110 years, only three pitchers age 25 or younger have had more in a season: Blake Snell (2018) Dean Chance (1964) Babe Ruth (1916)

Ceddanne Rafaela went 3 for 17, got doubled off at first, got thrown out at the plate when his coach told him to stay, and butchered a ball in center field this weekend, but he’s crying about a non-catch. Hilarious baseball player.

Not being able to score the runner on 3rd with less than 2 outs is so brutal. I remember when Kevin Long was the hitting coach he would keep track of that stat in the clubhouse and highlight its importance. If it’s the heart of the order, sure let them swing for the big score. The bottom of the order bats though, you need guys that have the skill to get that job done.
