In high pressure moments, the quality of decision-making matters more than the skill.

Anything can be done with work ethic & a positive attitude 🔊 “If you chase something, sometimes you never get it. But, if you put forth the work, & all the attitude. Next thing you know: it’s bestowed upon you.” — Michael Jordan 🎥 via @OWNTV

The goal of teaching should not be to help the students learn how to memorize and spit out information under academic pressure. 🧠 The purpose of teaching is to inspire the desire for learning in them and make them able to think, understand, and question.

“Culture drives expectations and beliefs; expectations and beliefs drive behaviour; behaviour drives habits and habits create the future. It all starts with culture.” Great new blog post from @NH_Coaching_ nickhillcoaching.com/?p=1993

Why do you coach? Is it for personal glory? Is it for the gear and the fame? Is it for the money and bonuses? I doubt it... We coach for them, we get better for them, we do it for them. The Athlete... #thelanguageofcoaching

The question isn't whether you make a mistake (because we all do), but how you react...
Don’t be defined by the mistakes you make in life, be defined by how you react to them...

Culture drives behavior. Behavior drives habits. Habits drives strategy. Your culture must focus on the root, not just the fruit, or it dies. via @TeamCoachBuzz
Great reminder - "Trust once lost is often hard to regain. Integrity requires humble introspection. It requires you do what is right - not what is easy. Keep your word, make fair decisions, communicate honestly, take responsibility, & treat others with dignity and respect"
Players’ strength of relationship with the coach is not founded on feeling the coach trusts them not to get it wrong in the arena; it’s founded on knowing the coach trusts them even when they do get it wrong.
