R.I.P to my original Twitter page 🥀. I forgot to reactivate and now it’s gone 😢🥹😭 Guess all of the old things formerly attached to me are being buried and removed in 2023. I actually thank God for that. Discipline pays off and clarity births anew. ✊🏾💪🏾

There was a whole generation between gen x and millennial, born from around 80-85, who are different than everyone else.
What the fuck is an "elder millennial?"

I feel like God isn’t playing nowadays. If He wants you alone, you’ll be alone. If you can’t leave, He’ll allow them to leave. If you hesitate, He’ll place you in a position where you have no choice but to choose yourself and Him. He’ll make your schedule so full that distractions fall away. He’ll place you in situations where you realize you can’t take another step without consulting Him. Slowly, your mindset will shift. He’ll remove the lenses so you can see people for who they truly are.

*Maturity taught me that* not every woman is a Proverbs 31 woman. And honestly, that’s okay. *Some women are Deborahs* — called to lead, speak boldly and stand on the front lines. *Some are Ruths* — loyal, humble and faithful even when nobody is watching. *Some are Esthers* — positioned for influence, with courage rising when the moment calls for it. *Some are Marys* — chosen to surrender and carry a purpose they didn’t fully understand. *Some are Hannahs* — shaped by prayer, waiting, tears and a faith that refuses to die. *Some are Abigails* — wise, discerning and brave enough to step in before things fall apart. *Some are Miriams* — worshippers, leaders and women who know how to praise God after surviving battles. *Some are Rahabs* — women with complicated pasts who prove that your beginning does not have to determine your ending. *Some are Naomis* — women who have lost so much, yet somehow find the strength to begin again. *Some are Lydia’s* — business-minded, resourceful women who use what they have to make room for others. *Some are Priscillas* — women who teach, guide and build alongside others. *Some are Mary Magdalene’s* — women whose lives were transformed by God and who carried their testimony boldly. *And then there are Jezebels* — a reminder that influence without humility, power without accountability and manipulation can destroy everything around you. *The Bible didn’t give us only one type of woman.* *It gave us leaders.* Warriors. Mothers. Worshippers. Entrepreneurs. Intercessors. Survivors. Women who waited. Women who fought. Women who failed. Women who were restored. And women whose lives became warnings. *So stop expecting every woman to look* the same, love the same, lead the same or walk the same path. *You don’t have to be another woman*. You just have to become the woman God created YOU to be. ❤️‍🔥🙏🏾

Yes, we millennials are quitting the rat race. No one is interested in getting stuck on the hedonic treadmill. We just want to be happy and left the fuck alone. Good health, just enough to afford relative comfort. Offgrid, hiking, sharing some choma at home... just simple things. We no longer entertain unnecessary pressure or negative energy.
I think millennials are having a factory reset. Nobody wants their career. Nobody wants corporate culture. Nobody wants another fucking productivity app. We just want a little house, some hobbies, financial security and to be left the fuck alone. Apparently that’s radical now.

As someone who built their own credit score from the low 500s to the high 700s in under a year… stop paying ppl to “fix” your credit. Pay them ppl you owe back, send goodwill letters, and update your personal info.

There is an unwritten rule to life that most people never get told. After every long stretch of hardship and uncertainty, a period comes where you make quantum leaps across multiple areas of your life at once. It happens all at once, and it happens because of everything you survived before it. The only requirement on your end is simple. Do not give up on yourself before that period arrives.

One thing I love about David's prayer in Psalm 139 is how he invites God to search his heart, not just bless his life. It's a reminder that our relationship with God should go beyond asking Him for things. We must also allow Him to correct us, expose what needs healing and lead us in the right direction. Lord, search me and lead me in the way everlasting

90 DAYS WITHOUT POWER, RANKED You are not leaving. The roof is fine. The grid is just gone. No power, no water pressure, no store deliveries, for 90 days. In each category we will go from most important to least important. The categories are ranked too. The roof is covered, so water comes first, then food, then everything that keeps those two usable. 90 days is what you should be prepared for. Most official lists say 3 to 14 days. Those are minimums, not plans. WATER Without it you have days. One gallon per person per day. 90 days is 90 gallons per person. A family of 4 needs 360. Water filter (a gravity filter is the best buy) Food grade barrels or water bricks Unscented bleach to treat stored water Your water heater tank holds 40 to 50 gallons. Know how to drain it. Rain collection (check local rules) FOOD Rice and beans are the backbone. If you cannot afford freeze dried meals, load up on rice and beans. Rice has about 1,650 calories per pound. Dry beans about 1,570. 2,000 calories a day for 90 days is about 110 pounds per person, or four 5 gallon buckets. Cooking oil, salt, sugar, spices Peanut butter Canned meat and vegetables Powdered milk Multivitamins Freeze dried meals if you can afford them Eat the fridge first, then the freezer, then the pantry. COOKING AND FUEL Food you cannot cook is just weight. Camp stove plus fuel for 90 days Extra propane or butane Lighters and matches One pot with a lid Never run a stove or heater indoors without ventilation. HEAT Cold is the quiet killer. Wood stove or a safe indoor rated heater Fuel for it Wool blankets and sleeping bags rated below your coldest night Pick one room, close it off, and live in it Carbon monoxide detector with batteries. Not optional. SANITATION This is what ends up killing people in long outages. 5 gallon bucket with a toilet seat lid Heavy trash bags Kitty litter or sawdust Bleach Soap and hand sanitizer Toilet paper, a lot of it MEDICAL Prescriptions. Ask your doctor about a longer supply. First aid kit Pain and stomach relief Any glasses or contacts, plus a spare pair A printed first aid manual LIGHT AND POWER Headlamps and lanterns Batteries, rotated Solar panel with a power bank A generator is a bonus, not a plan. Fuel goes bad and it is loud. INFORMATION, CASH AND NEIGHBORS Cards stop working when the power does. Battery or crank radio Cash in small bills, silver and gold if you have it Paper copies of IDs and contacts Know your neighbors. Trade skills, not just supplies. MORALE Books, cards, games, something for the kids. Boring beats hungry. Bored beats panicked. THE FIRST 72 HOURS Fill the bathtub and every container you own before the water stops. Fridge and freezer stay shut. A full freezer holds about 48 hours. Charge everything while you still can. Cook and eat what will spoil first. Obviously we could add security and it is important but depending on where you are, what your aloud to have/own I'm not going into great detail on that. What I can say is have a plan, talk it over with your family, everyone has a job. Don't be afraid to talk to your neighbors you know as well to make sure they are doing their part if you plan on working together. Feel free to add anything I may have missed. Anything you may think would be of added value for others to read and share. Book mark this, come back to it, create a check list. To be clear, I am not a survivalist. This is not survival advice. This is only my setup that I am following with my family. If nothing else maybe just a reminder. ISO Ledger 🛡

Seeing this live was a time!
In 1995, Courtney Love threw makeup compacts at Madonna during a LIVE interview at the MTV VMAs, and what followed was one of the most awkwardly iconic moments in pop culture history 😭💀

Okay. Who has an Ambien story? I can vividly recall two things. After taking Ambien, for some reason, I would browse Amazon and, apparently, make purchases. For the next few days, items would just appear. I got tired of returning items so I just kept them. The other memory I have is that my wife asked me what had gotten into me the previous night. I had no idea what she was referring to. Apparently, we had engaged in an intense sexual encounter. I had no memory of it unfortunately. 🥺
