I got goosebumps watching this reading by Karla Marrufo of her work "Mayo," with subtitles showing @AlasTranslation's English translation. I have vivid memories of editing Allison's translation last year and thinking the piece was something special. youtu.be/uUdhutwTbms?t=3096 (1/2)
Pub House Press (Quebec) just released their bilingual edition of poems from Verónica G. Arredondo's Ese cuerpo no soy/I Am Not That Body, with my English translations. The collection won PHP’s 2020 International Chapbook Competition. It's a publication that transcends borders.
