Every African should see this video of a bilateral discussion between President Emmanuel Macron of France and representatives from Burkina Faso.
No one has made me happier for and prouder of Africa than the ladies in the video. Ibrahim Traoré has the best brains around him.✍️
Value-packed August break👏
This girl, Chizoba, just graduated from Mechatronics at Nile University with a CGPA of 4.96.
She will be with us for the next 4 weeks teaching our children hardcore Robotics and AI. All practicals.
Her final-year project was constructing and programming a 3D printer from scratch. She also built unique technology that converts waste water bottles into 3D printing filaments.
These next 4 weeks are going to be on fire. Our children will also build drones from the ground up.
We selected the top 40 South East Maths Olympiad Winners from Enugu to participate in this program.
In a world where decline can happen at any time and varying magnitude, the best bet is to hold a positive view and keep building wholesomely

"Na where man work, e dey chop" - a rotting mentality that lots of people believe in. Some in the society sees what he's doing as being "smart" and others who helped the business as being "foolish". There's a rot in our society that many embraced, not just as a norm but the right
This morning, I went for an important meeting with our company driver. Fuel was low, so we stopped at a gas station.
I told the attendant to sell ₦50k worth. Then I asked for their ATM to pay with my card.
He said the ATM was down and gave me his personal account to transfer.
I refused. Argument started.
Then a senior manager walked in, asked what was happening. After explaining, he confirmed all their POS Machines are working that Infact, his action to give me his own bank details is against company policy.
He revealed they’ve been losing thousands of litres during tanker offloading because of staff like him, that they’ve already sacked over 9 people, but the problem continues.
He apologized, handled the payment properly, and said they would deal with him accordingly.
The look on his face when we left said everything.
This got me thinking…💭
How many Nigerian businesses are bleeding like this because of dishonest employees?
Is it pure greed, or poverty mentality that makes people steal from the hand feeding them?
What’s your honest take? 👇
We're all products of influences, this here is a strong influence on the choice you've made.
Wishing you healing, which doesn't mean you'll forget the pain/horror, it means the effect is no longer there on you.
Get healed at your pace so you don't stay a victim of your experience
This morning I told my mum the truth, that I do not intend to get married. I've always wanted to tell her this each time she asked me about it. And this morning I had the confidence to tell her my truth.
She got angry, and she said she won't allow it, so I firmly told her, "I wish you had power over that."
She got angry and almost lost control. I wanted to tell her to look at her marriage with my Dad. I wanted to remind her of how the noise of my dad beating her woke me up, when I was 7. I wanted to remind her how my dad beat her one day to the point that she ran out naked, and a neighbour borrowed her wrapper. I wanted to tell her that, that was the first time I saw an adult body and the image is still in my head to this day. I wanted to remind her of the day my dad pushed her on the stairs, that her hands and eyes and knees got swollen, it was my sister and I who ran to her rescue, I wanted to tell her how scared I was that day that I might lose my mum. I wanted to remind her how my sis and I told her to leave our dad and let's run away before he gets back. But she would insist that he's our father and she can't take us away from him. Finally, I wanted to remind her how forcefully Daddy sent us packing. How messy growing up was, how she raised us with frustration and fear. But I couldn't tell her, it would have hurt her so much to know how deep their choices hurt me.
She did a great job raising us, she never allowed us to speak ill of him. She always reminds us that regardless of how bad it turns out, he's still our father. And we must respect him.
I love my Dad, despite everything I witnessed I still can't bring myself to be angry at him. He's still my father.
Unfortunately, I am yet to heal.
Talk about subtle influence, it's most powerful.... you'd think you're making your decisions, which you are truly doing but when examined you'll discover you're arriving at a choice due to certain influences you didn't recognise before make those choices.
Funny thing happened today.
I was seated at a table with some men discussing work and one of them randomly asked what my closest goal to achieve is.
I said “oh I’m just looking for 22 million naira so I can buy the 2016 Honda accord”
His immediate reply? “You grew up in the north Abi?” 💀
I never knew liking Hondas was a northern Nigerian thing lmao, here I am, shaped by a dream that only is, because I grew up amongst northerners.
Anyways, not “affect” per se in this case, but environment plays such a huge role in our world view and we have no idea most times.
