More than a bit tired of those who should be serving others just serving themselves.

Pity the folk who believe this and shame on the lobby fodder who will dutifully defend it.
Labour has said that not cutting the winter fuel payment would have caused a run on the pound and crashed the economy. Mental stuff from what is now a right-wing party of liars.

Straight from the #tory playbook. Look like the good guys in certain areas for 26 then roll back devolution further with their compliant boys and girls in Holyrood.
"Labour is set to change the law to allow Scottish Secretary Ian Murray to bypass Holyrood." 74% of Scots voted for a devolved parliament to take control of Scottish affairs. By bypassing Holyrood, Labour are once again denying Scottish democracy. dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scott…

#Tories suddenly realising #douglasross is a little self serving shit just highlights how out of touch they are. Everyone else always saw it.

Labour pretending they have values.
Good to catch up with @AndyBurnhamGM and @MetroMayorSteve in Edinburgh this afternoon to discuss putting Labour’s values into action for our communities.

The #FarageRiots are very different to the Cameron Riots but will @UKLabour use this moment to look at the underlying issues. We’ve made no progress in over 40 years on social justice and community powerlessness. It’s time to change the story… theguardian.com/public-leade…

❌ Why are “tough choices” always forced on those who can’t afford it? Robin McAlpine asks why the Labour Government isn’t looking to tax wealth and invest, instead of punishing pensioners and cutting essential public infrastructure.

During the election campaign Anas Sarwar described as "nonsense" a suggestion that Scottish Labour MPs would do exactly what Keir Starmer told them to, irrespective of what Scottish Labour members wanted. Tonight Scottish Labour MPs did what Starmer told them to.

Very grateful to the 102 parliamentary colleagues who backed the SNP amendment tonight. I’m told that no Labour MPs from Scotland were in that number.
With thanks to @CommonsSpeaker, there will be a vote tonight on the SNP amendment calling for an end to the two-child benefit cap. We have gained cross-party support in our efforts to lift children out of poverty and I hope that all MPs from Scotland will vote with us tonight.

I'm looking forward to unionist politicians telling us that #GE24    shows ppl in Scotland don't want independence & we must listen. They ignored every election the SNP won emphatically in last 10 years & actively blocked their mandate for #indyref2. But NOW they'll listen 😂

The change people need they say. Zero integrity and values on sale to the highest bidder. The Tory tribute act waiting in the wings.
In 2020, Keir Starmer promised not to speak to The Sun because of the hurt it caused to Liverpool. Today, he says he's delighted The Sun has backed Labour. Nothing more to say.
