The UK Covid Inquiry made one glaring mistake. It failed to examine the broadcast media. Public conformity was essential in containing the virus and people were steered by what they heard on TV and Radio.
BBC Scotland politicised the pandemic and put thousands of lives at risk. It smeared the FM, misled the public by continually framing Scotland's vaccination programme as failing and regularly undermined guidelines & messaging.

🚨 I NEVER THOUGHT IT WOULD GET THIS BAD. Uk police have lost all control of the streets. Migrants and African men attacking police officers and filming it. One police officer is pinned down while the other migrants carry weapons and intimidate them. Absolutely shocking!

Housebuilding is one of the biggest opportunities we have to drive economic growth, create jobs and deliver the homes people need. But we won’t unlock that opportunity without fixing planning.
@CBI_Scotland reports that a record number of businesses are postponing or cancelling investment because of delays in the planning system. If we're serious about growth, we need a planning system that enables investment, not holds it back.

▪️Another £6 billion wasted in a single fiscal year from cancelled government funded projects and asset retirements.
That’s £28 billion of taxpayer cash in a single year.
We can’t keep the lights on in hospitals, fail to support our farmers, veterans wait years for housing, potholes have their own postcodes and the road drains aren’t regularly cleaned. But we’ve always got another few billion for illegal migrant hotels no one asked for and a climate target that accounts for less than 1% of global emissions while China opens another coal plant.
Fiscal responsibility, they call it.
The rest of us just call it setting fire to the country and calling it policy.
The national conversation should move from how much tax we should pay and towards what the government is spending our tax money on.

Speaker: My side of the argument is regularly told that we are demonising Islam and whipping up fear of Islam.
But let me tell you what actually whips up fears of Islam.
9/11. The London bombings. Madrid. Mumbai. Bali. Death for apostasy. Death for blasphemy. Death for adultery. Death for homosexuality. Gender discrimination. Child marriage. Beheadings. Imprisonment for being raped.
The murder of Theo van Gogh. Death threats. Sharia patrols. Polygamous marriages.
This is what causes fear of Islam. It is not me.
We'll be told this is just the extreme fringe of Islam.
Well, look at Saudi Arabia the birthplace of Islam and custodian of its holy sites.
People are executed for blasphemy and apostasy.
But apparently, that's the extreme fringe?
Calling Saudi Arabia the extreme fringe of Islam is like calling the Vatican the extreme fringe of Catholicism. Sorry, it just doesn't work.
Then we're told violent Muslims have misunderstood Islam.
Saudi Arabia has misunderstood. Iran has misunderstood. Yemen has misunderstood.
Has there ever been a more spectacularly misunderstood religion than Islam?
I'm constantly told that I need to respect Islam. But I'm under no greater obligation to respect Islam than any other belief.
I am under no obligation to make compromises with an ideology I simply don't see as peaceful.
Why don't I see it as peaceful? Because of the evidence.
If I look around the world and see the countries where Islam calls the shots, all I see is brutality and violence imposed by the state.
