At approximately 2:38 p.m. on July 21, 2026, ACFD responded to the Little Fire near Little Valley Road and Vallecitos Road in Sunol.
ACFD crews are supporting a multi-agency response. CAL FIRE is the lead agency and has command of the incident.

Newark Truck 28 responded to a call about kittens possibly trapped under a loading dock. All four kittens were safely rescued and taken to a local shelter. @AlamedaCoFire
ACFD responded to a 3-alarm residential fire on June 28 at 3:51 p.m. in the 22000 block of Queen St., Castro Valley.
Fire extended to 2 homes + an ADU. 6 people, 3 dogs & a cat displaced. Mutual aid from Hayward, Oakland & Alameda.
1 FF minor injury. Red Cross assisting.
On June 23, 2026, at 10:36 PM, the Alameda County Fire Department, along with Livermore/Pleasanton Fire Department, were called to the 4500 block of Dublin Blvd. in Dublin to check out a vegetation fire near commercial buildings.
The fire was put out before it spread.

On June 17, 2026, at 10:38 a.m., ACFD responded to a structure fire in the 17000 block of Via Arriba in San Lorenzo. About 22 firefighters responded. The fire started in the backyard and extended to the home. All occupants evacuated safely; no injuries reported.

ACFD is assisting with a large mutual aid response to a massive warehouse fire in Tracy, along with a nearby vegetation fire. Smoke has been visible for miles. Crews stopped fire spread to an adjacent building; fire remains active. No reported injuries at this time.
