Just a friendly reminder - Google and other Internet sites would not have free books for you to read, if it were not for the hard work of libraries over the centuries to collect, catalog and curate materials. A job we are still doing.

@geneabloggers @ancestry Rootsweb was only a shell of its former self after acquisition . Expect the same for F.A.G.

I love that @ReclaimTheRecs has taken it upon themselves to advocate for everyone to have access to their ancestor's records. xitter.cf/ReclaimTheRecs/status/…
Reclaim The Records doesn't just support genealogists and historians having better access to old archival records, we support EVERYONE'S right to their records. We're proud to be a Strategic Partner organization of NYARC, the New York Adoptee Rights Coalition (@nyadopteerights).

I have a tough time trying to figure out how someone can proudly wave the flag of another country, but consider it punishment to be sent back there. 🤔

Find A Grave customers have spoken, but is @Ancestry's @FindaGrave product team listening? #genealogy #tech #UX #FindAGrave #Webdesign xitter.cf/i/moments/930767904307…

Hey @FindaGrave, love your website but wish you would be minimally selective about the ads in your display feeds. This ad featuring @HillaryClinton is clearly meant to propagate political division and hate. It's not what I go to FindAGrave.com for, please stop them. TY

Roseate Spoonbill from Birds of America (1827) by John James Audubon (1785 - 1851), etched by Robert Havell (1793 - 1878). The original Birds of America is the most expensive printed book in the world and a truly awe-inspiring classic. Download now at rawpixel.com/image/277295/ro…

Agreed. I will no longer use any of their products. Too dangerous because clearly no one’s “minding the store”, in terms of safeguarding their users. Funny how all this changed after we lost net neutrality. I miss the old findagrave.

@FindaGrave pls check your website ads for malicious code. Twice, without clicking on ads on your site, I have gone to findagrave.org and gotten the bogus imitation Microsoft “virus” scam alert that “takes over” my browser.

The "new" version is ad heavy, audio pop ups and less intuitive than the original

Any word on fixing the “improved” findagrave?

.@GregCram Hi Greg. We're going to be filing a NY FOIL request, likely followed by an Article 78 petition/lawsuit, against the NYC Department of Health, for the return of public data taken from the shelves of the NYPL at 42nd St in 2017. Were you a part of that records removal?

@SaveFindAGrave I prefer they KEEP the classic FAG. Why reinvent the wheel? It is MUCH EASIER to deal with the older version than this new crap.
