If you get an opportunity to sit on a board or to participate in a round table, say something. Don’t wait until you learn more, don’t defer to other experience in the room. If you’re there speak on it. – at Indianapolis, IN

There’s no religious test for public office in this country, but I’ll say as a pastor here in North Carolina: if the church can’t acknowledge this testimony from our sister, then we’ve been led astray & aren’t hearing the Spirit’s, “Amen.”

I’ll never understand how legislators from areas where talented people grow up and leave, come to Indianapolis every year just to pass legislation to chase more people away. We aren’t Florida. Policy matters when it’s not 80 degrees in February.
Thank you Melanie! It was great to be back with my colleagues @TechPointInd to celebrate Xtern and talk through where we can be in the next 10 years. @LucasOilStadium was a perfect backdrop for this conversation.

Normalize disappointing people. The idea that we are going to be liked and gain approval from everyone in our lives is an illusion. Adults are capable of being disappointed.

I Just watched the Indiana legislature forfeit our future and send the message to millions of women and their partners that we should look elsewhere for equality. I hope our Governor has the sense to listen to us. Our legislators have failed.
