Thanks to Allah Almighty, I have officially obtained my PhD in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. During the final year of my PhD journey, I was diagnosed with lymphoma and was also expecting a new baby. I cannot believe how I managed to balance fighting cancer, caring for my family, and completing my PhD tasks. I would like to thank my parents for their prayers and my wife who has been a tremendous support throughout this journey. I am also grateful to my dissertation chair, Dr. Miller, and to the rest of the committee members for their endless support. Without their contributions, this achievement would not have been possible. Finally, I want to thank my government for providing the scholarship opportunity and covering my medical expenses.
