As I scan X on a daily basis, it’s obvious to me that several touching or shocking videos which seem absolutely unbelievable are Ai generated. These alleged events are so improbable, no wonder there are thousands of views as we’re being played for fools. It’s actually very sad.

Ukrainian soldiers are so tough, so brave and committed to saving their country. Forgive the sports analogy but they remind me of a 2A football school playing a 5A and thinking upset. Knock ‘em down, run ‘em over, and they jump back up and get in your face again. Heroes all.

Good one. Kimmel will be calling you soon.
Trump’s personal library burned down. The fire destroyed both books. And in a tragic twist, He hadn’t even finished coloring the second one yet.

That t-shirt tells you all you need to know about Trumpers,
Trumper: "Trump is the best president we've ever had!" Interviewer: "You think he's better than George Washington?' Trumper: "Definitely, he's the best forever! I'm voting for him in '28! Two more years ain't enough!" Interviewer: 'That would be against the Constitution!" Trumper: "Doesn't matter; they did it for Obama!" Interviewer: "But he didn't run! Trumper: "That's because they didn't want him!" Every time one of them talks, it becomes more crystal clear that education needs to be one of the highest priorities in America; these people are voting! 😳

Win more than the 45+ some “experts” are predicting.
What are the top priorities for the Chicago Bulls this season 🤔

Chris Ballard is out as Colts’ general manager after 10 non-productive seasons. Surprisingly, of all the GMs in team’s history, Highland grad Ryan Grigson (2012-16) has third-best record of 49-31. Top 2 are Bill Polian (1997-2008) at 120-72 and Don Kellett at 92-72 (1953-65).

I’ve wondered how 2026 Heisman winner and No. 1 draft pick QB Fernando Mendoza is doing with the 3-3 Raiders. His season debut was Oct. 11 in a 45-17 loss at New England, where he got the call with 6:00 to go and completed 6 of 8 passes for 48 yards. He carried once for 3 yards.

Hope Rosey bounces back — but a sad and frightening fact about taking your dog to the vet today is it costs a fortune. Mine charges $96 just for an office visit, though some friends have been charged as much as $400 including treatment. Surgeries and break you, financially.
So any college folks out there, remember the all-nighter? Get the big paper done? Cram for the exam and hope you’re awake enough to take it? Thanks to our pup, my wife and I got to experience similar over night, except this time at the vet emergency clinic. Rosey spent yesterday throwing up and with difficulty swallowing, so to the clinic we went. Fortunately nothing dire for a diagnosis, but it appears to be inflammatory bowel disease, so it’s a minefield of meds and some food changes. Now I move on to the final exam equivalent of staying awake for the Bears game. #Rosey #goldenretrievers

Sunday’s 31-23 win wasn’t all high-fives for the Bears, who blew 31-7 lead. Their most concerning issue was a lack of discipline — again — with 12 penalties for 133 yards — giving them 44 for 342 yards in 6 games. Jahdae Walker’s ejection for head-butting was the dumbest penalty.

Hopefully, the reason for DB Kyler Gordon’s 21-day absence (injury? personal? other?) is now history. His 3 sacks,2 forced fumbles and 3 tackles (2 for loss) against the Falcons may get him NFL Defensive Player of the Week.

So many great players to choose from. Different eras, though.
Say what you want but Orenthal James Simpson might have been the greatest I’ve ever seen play. Nothing against anybody else.

Didn’t I tweet at halftime that I hoped some shaky officiating in the Notre Dame-BYU slugfest wouldn’t determine the outcome? Well, it did. Wasn’t that BYU defensive pass interference on final play of the game, in the end zone, with ND trailing 28-24? Yes or no?

Notre Dame has been out-coached, out-hustled, outmuscled and surprisingly outplayed the first half at BYU. The officiating has been a bit shaky. Hope this entertaining matchup of unbeatens doesn’t come down to a questionable call at the end.

What a horrible way for IU to lose any game, particularly to Ohio State. Having the winning TD catch in the end zone erased because one foot was out of bounds is like scoring the winning run in baseball, then having the ump call you out because you missed touching home plate.
