wouldn't even be that strong btw, increases your survival chance from 3 m80a1 with a C6 plate by 5% (lowkey makes you immune to bullets sub 48pen until the C6 plate is zero'd though but we ignore that)

I like this change a lot actually and it goes to show the spirit of tarkov is not completely lost. when someone really pisses you off or you've killed them in odd circumstances, putting in huge effort just to get their tag to ID them and check their stats feels meaningful.
